  1. alright, heres an update. got it running and ran really good. was cutting out a little on the top-end, but im just thinking it is the carb my be clogged, but thats the least of my probs. my clutch was shot, so i put a new one in, rode for about 20 min and all of a sudden, it starts acting like the clutch is shot again. tore it down completely but everything looks good. fuck, just my luck u can take the clutch base (with the tranny in 1st gear) and turn it almost half way before it finally catches. so now ive got to figure out what tha fuck happened. think im going to go ahead and get a shift cam and go from there
  2. i bet u would i just got it running like 10 min ago (10:47 PM CST) and it sounds good with the T6s. the funny part was when i started, it was spitting out what was little was left of the pisont that came out of my buddy's '03. i keep seeing like pieces hit the floor and couldnt figure out what they were til i looked at them. ill give a ride report tomorrow once i get the fenders back on.
  3. it was for me when i did my buddy's 03, but i had to get a new housing b/c the spocket bearing was so shot that one ball corkscrewed all the way to the brake side. have fun and enjoy
  4. just take the crank out and take it to a quad race shop and they can look it over and tell u if its good or not. my buddy's 4 mil did the same and he got luck. all ill have to do is put new pistons, rings, and hone his cyls.

  6. they r and i know this. thats y my buddy wants me to get T-5s and trade him. i just looked at him and laugh and told him to go fuck himself when the time came. im just basically testing waters here to see what it like
  7. Like the title says, going from my FMF's to my buddy's T6's. His 03 4mil is still down, so im going to use his pipes to see how much of a diff there really is until he gets me parts to get his back on the road. Needing to know if i need to get bigger jets. currently running 195 main and 60 pilot in 35mm single carb from trinity with boyseen dual stage. My buddy is running the same setup, so if need be, ill use his jets. thanks for any info

  11. i put one on my buddys 400 'shee (alba 400 stroker kit) last yr and it got better gas mileage, would pull 4th gear on its own on pavement and would top out at 80-85. worth the money in my book if u keep the air box, its kindof a pain in the ass, but its worth only having one carb compared to 2

  13. depending on where u live, 20cc u can still run 91 oct. i run 100 oct AV Gas in mine with 18 domes and havent had any probs, exp. sat night. ran it low on gas and i think i leaned it out and burn a hole in the piston

  20. Def. get a Cylmer (sp) manual. itll tell u everything u need to know. im running my 'shee at 32:1 on 100 oct AV Gas with Castor 927. by the way, temp gauges r easy to put in. V V V
