wow! good memories! i was here right after the 54 switch too - since i bought my forst banshee and posted my first pic of kira in college i remmeber most of the people on those lists.... ha - Allpro - haha - that was a long time ago i love this site - mainly due to the feedback on stuff, how stuff looks...etc but i really love the real world advice: none of this "the xxx makes banshee do xxxx" from the manufacturers websites, but from tried and true americans - and others - that have actually installed the stuff themselves!

oh man - ive never really paid attention.... i think there is a "val du lakes", a "silver city II" theres a "jellystone park", and of course - the state campground there are a few hotels up there too..... silver sands....etc Val Du lakes has a bikini clad bar there too! with pool tables and volley ball cts - lit up at night

Rockets cost $450 for a bare set, and $550 for a chrome set they arent any louder than toomeys, fmf, pro circuits, or whatever actually i little quiter than Toomey pipes I've ranted and raved about these pipes enough - they speak for themselves - I havent sold a set to an unsatisfied customer yet do a search for "rocket pipes" youll see what I mean!

You guys all sound right on the money! Ducman is right, rockets flow alot of air - thats why they scoot! you WILL need to bump up alot on the main. I didnt even touch my pilots or needle on my stroker (different story on the RZ though). I think my main is a 310 on the bored out stock carbs. But I also have a stroker crank - so that may affect it slightly... hope this helps! love the pics guys! keep them coming

either way im going that weekend, cause i had reservations last month for my cottage i stay at for that weekend! yes, i got in with rocket pipes with regular duneland bought spark arrestors - $70 each though better start watching ebay! they have been very lax this summer with sounds testing if you dont make it the first time, go back to trailer - slam a mountain dew, fill your gas tank, then try again! they never remember you

sorry - took me a while to see ths post! anyways - what they say is right - easy to put in wiring is hardest part exhasut flanges? you gotta make em up i just bought a set for $70 from SpecII i auctually have a extra set - i didnt know i had - $50 shipped and they are yours im or email with any questions - i was walked through it, and ill do the same to anyone else i took pics throughout entire install process.... Rocket pipes at PT pipes are the only pipes i know that clear the powervalves - you have to get one of those or cut or dent other pipes i used the rz tranny - 92 mph on stock gearing =

more compression needs more octane - otherwise your engine will "ping" = loss of power = bad = rebuild me! where to get race gas? just go to ANY airport - local or big they all sell Aviator Fuel - usually 100+ octane works great, and not too expensive - mine here is about 2.60 a gallon, or 60 cents more than regular 87 gas
