  8. I was just gonna reccommed that you talk to Ducman, but I guess he beat me to it! Even with stock port, stock intakes, and stock carbs - you will see VERY NOTICABLE improvements but dont take my word for it..... do a search

  10. Rockets arent that loud by the way - about 94db or so, new ones have bigger sielncers, will be under 90dbs soon... Trinitys? Well i never tried them, but i sold a set of Rockets to someone in TX with a set of trinity out of frames, and the Rockets shaved 2/10 of a second off of his run - which is pretty damn impressive if you ask me...... email me for more info - or ask here
  11. well, Ive been out of school a year now, and still can't find a descent Career anyone here have any pull? I live in SE Michigan, and have a BS in Biology I was trying to get into pharmaceutical Sales, but no luck. I'm willing to do any Science related white collar work!
  12. well the pipes mount up using the stock hanger in the front, and they rear, you can either use them, or not use them (I personally dont). The hanger points that are on the frame directly in front of the engine (for the stock pipes) are not used at all. I do not think ANY aftermarket pipe maker uses these points (heck, I cut mine off, save about 1/25 of a pound in weight )
  13. thanks for the honest review - glad u like them! It does make it a different animal huh? spark arrestors? well i just bought the clamp on ones for me, but we were looking into producing a sparky silencer, but problem is that it cost just as much as adding the clamp ons! We will continue to look at our options, but for this year, we will not be introducing a spark arrested rocket pipe ( )
  14. alright, I'll just get some new ones.... for $150, I cant go too wrong..... too bad they are all out of stock right now.... what size u guys reccommend? 22" 20" im a big fan of the 10" rim (looks wise) - so i guess ill go with that again also, there are 2 different kinds of klaws, xcr, and mxc or something similar to that what do you guys run? anywhere else to get them that arent sold out?
  15. ive got about 5 of them..... make me an offer
  16. was about to say the says thing: bottom of radiator- hose goes to the water pump. funny, but I had this reversed on a banshee I bought once - I rode it quite a while before I even noticed it! No problems believe it or not

  18. Ive been a few places in Mexico - good stuff I'm getting my certfication classes started next week gonna be ready fro my family's cruise to the caribean jan 2nd! I was considering buying my own gear, but I'll probably just rent - there are some killer ebay deals on used stuff though....
  19. what diameter are the pipe clamps?
  20. Rocket silencers are included with the price of the Rocket pipes..... but, at SilverFest 04, sept 17-20 at silver lake dunes, MI, I will try to retro fit some different companies silencers on rocket pipes so I know what fits what. This will also let us know what pipe clamp to get if you want those too (i dont run any = no leaks yet, and I've had them longer than anyone on these forums). If ya waqnn atry a set out, come out to SilverFest, I'll bring along a few sets of sample pipes that you can throw on your bike.
  21. Rockets are sweet on stock bikes - lok around the forums, Iver sold 2-3 sets to stockers, and they love them check out the website in my signature, there are some pics of them on stockers!
  22. There seems to be some confusion: the ONLY way to get to the dunes is through the DNR controlled gates. After these gates is a huge parking lot, where you can bring your camper, truck, trailer, or whatever. The only way to get into this parking lot is to have a state parks sticker on your vehicle. These cost $24 a year, or $4 a day. This parking lot is accessible directly from public roads, so that means that no off-road vehicles can drive into the parking lot - they must be towed or trailered in. once in the parking lot, you can drive you quad to a DNR station where they check for spark arrestors (and once in a while sound), then you go into the enterance ramp to the dunes. Thats all there is to it no one that i know of did any booking, so I think you are on your own unless someone who is camping fr sure steps up Ray
