  4. So I go riding in some seriously sandy trails. Rides fine for about 45 to hour. Then I am loosing power and boggin in lows...high revs are popping and not going anywhere. I was thinking "WTF DOOD!" Since I have been working on figuring out my jetting, I hauled ass back to the truck. I thought maybe fouling out plug.....got back, barely. Couldn't even drive it up onto the ramps...NO power. Anyone care to make a frikken stab at it? yea.......Out of damn gas. The kicker was that I checked it not long beforehand. I saw plenty of gas in there....maybe getting into bottom 1/4 of tank. My dumbss for got about the visible reserve. I for got that its right there in front of me to see. So I got home and switched it to Res......everything was fine. Man, THAT was stupid.
  5. well estimated 6 hrs. They were in when I bought it. But from what I understand it was "tuned up" when he got ready to sell it. May be much much more.....easy solution= put in new ones, see how they do.
  6. Is this shock adjustable? I had them on the shee when I bought it.....way too hard for my weight(150 lbs.) Now I am on my stockers on firmest setting. Can I Get these WORKS to work for my size? Thanks

  8. I have been doing alot of testing on this thing. These plugs have about 6-7 hours on them i think. They are just general riding....I have yet to get a WOT test in...short road in a small neighborhood. I seem to be a little tiny bit on rich side, but i did put the snorkle back on. I have a few more things I want to try..then I might need to jet. The only time it seems to spit coolant is when I am going trough a slow tight trail. Any kind of speed riding...im fine. So....I think things will be fine..so long as it keeps performing as it has so far. thank you everone!
  9. these have been in for a good bit. Found out I am not runnin lean. Maybe a bit fat on the low end..then seems great through the mid to WOT. The overheating seem only to happen in tight slower trails.....my new riding hole is nice and big, and i had NO problems with the Spitting coolant. I will just keep riding...so far so good! Thanks all!

  11. Tell me what you would say about this plug if it came out of your Shee. IT is not a WOT test, but For general riding. I don't think its bad....but lets see what the pros think!
  12. just got the 25 FIN in line cooler off ebay for $13. Billet Aluminum and all that jazz. Good deal! All the aftermarket sites have the smaller ones for like $20+.

  17. i am thinking of the fan as well. There are tons otrails here in FL...so its hard to haul ass all day long. here is what i am thinking: get a small deep cycle battery that you can charge and kill all the time. hook it to a switch and then to the small fan on your radiator. Any time that you are in a tight trail, or have to move slow....click that bad boy on until your moving quick again. once that battery is getting dead, or after every run, Charge it back up in the shop! So this way there would be no charging probs with stock stator....no need for $$$ aftermarket one. what you guys think?

  19. I live in Central FL at sea level. Running the dynoport 2 into 1 pipe, 2 into 1 K&N filter with the moded air box...no more snorkle. I seem to be overheating relatively easily. This would mean I need smaller jets...right? Also seems to Bog a little in low RPMs. Any advise is much appreciated. Oh...the previous owner set it up to run in Charlotte, NC at a bit higher elevation.

  21. Question.... If I kick over the shee in first gear (clutch in all the way of course) and it still pushes forward a bit....is that REALLY bad? It's fine once it runs for a few seconds even. Only prob is when its started. I normally kick over in Neutral....but noticed this today when thought i was in neutral, but was in 1st. Thanks. Oh... I have full oil level reading, running MOTUL in the case.

  23. airbox has vents, with the snorkle, with a 2 into 1 K&N. The Jets are 270's I think. Aftermarket reeds. Other than that and the PIPE...thats it. No Engine mods yet.
