  2. nice to see so many people in FL...glad I started this thread. I found some nice spots to ride in Port St. John. I95 to the exit just north of the 528 exit. It is the exit for Port St. John....go east to the light and then left..right..wherever. I know a lot of you are down south..but someone might find this useful.....I did. Irony is I got directions from some utility quad riders...lol. But it was all good riding!! Anyone wanting the specific spots...email or PM me.
  3. what does your CLYMERS manual say? I know you own one! If not..it is the best $ you could spend on that shee right now.

need all black plastics. dont care if they are used a bit...just not trashed. I do not prefer the Maier plastics...but will take what is avail and cheap. Race cut fronts is fine. please help me out Thanks
  8. plug chop is exactly what you see above... needed to get your carb jetting correct on your MAIN jets. do a search on here for plug chop....i think sredish has a whole write up on here about it and or carb jetting.

    Toe In

or..measure from centerline of front tires... half way up on both front tires is your measuring spot. you want it .25in narrower on the FRONT side of your front tires..the back side should read .25in wider than front. this is of course once you have established that you have the fronts exactly the same distance front the frame on bothe sides. I cannot use a straight edge, as I have a slight bend im rear axle. BUT clymers will tell you what i just told you!! and yes...sit on quad and hold bars straight. good luck
  10. how much for rear rims? dibs! [email protected] <<pics
  11. UPDATE: High temp RED sealer worked like a champ. We will see how well the jetting is with a plug chop coming soon. like I said before...I have to find a strip to run at WOT! My street is full of kids and small. Oh...and to check the impeller for problems...what do I need? drain coolant? Gasket to put back on? do i pull the whole side cover to check?....or JUST to replace it? Thanks
  12. Something cool to stare at when F'ed up.
  13. something I found..yet have not tried...someone try it out!!! https://upload.video.google.com/index.html
  14. dremel / grind in some more. just grind down a little between spikes. OR>>>BUY NEW ONES. This guy on here makes you some PHAT aluminum ones for $80. search for pegs...you'll see it.
  15. I don't really think nerfs are needed for my riding...and didnt like the stock peg size. Also didn't wanna pay like $200 for the double wides. Here is the easiest and fastest way to get the double wide pegs. you don't have to weld them...the bolts were sufficient..but why not? not quite done yet...gonna paint them up so no rustnig occurs. Cost: $25 for stock pegs from HQ member Gargamel $4 for the nuts and bolts I wanted to use. $10 for my buddies welding skills....gotta tip a good worker!
  16. I know there are a ton of posts on 2 into 1 Pipes on here.....well I am gonna confirm some things that I have heard and read. I call the people at DYNOPORT about my 2 into 1 pipe that was on my bike when I got it. Called to ask about why the F it leaks around the ports. Response..."thats normal....you will never get the dribble to stop on a 2 into 1." ok..no big deal there....just friggen messy. Next I asked about jetting for that pipe. He siad, "they call for STOCK JETTING. But wince you have a K&N with mod'd air box you need to go up 2 sizes." >>>this I am not so sure I believe. I know no one on here is comfortable with this information. Then again...who the F is gonna call the companies bluff? They would know the info right? so in the end...still have a messy exhaust leak, and a great running bike that seems to get hot if I ride trails. SAME THING I STARTED WITH. But I do like the pipe sound and performance...nice and smooth all the way through. No High revs..but here in FL I dont need that....small trails! Sorry so long. Feel free to chime in.
  17. The plugs dont seem to bad....I cannot get an accurate Chop...as I have only small neighborhood to ride. People like to call cops on 4wheelers around here. So as far as a chop.....might have to find me a spot. In general....the bike was set up by a shop in NC, but I thought it seemed a bit lean. I will do some calling to DynoPort myself...see what they say. >>and may I add.....Rejetting is a BITCH with TORS. any secrets?
  18. Got 220s in there now.....seems to get hot evry once in a while here are "mods" Dynoport 2into1 Aibox lid vented with holes and cutouts inside(snorkle on) 80* F @ Sea Level. Should I go up a size or two? 240s Maybe?
