  1. Bump! Get a Noss head!
  2. I am getting ready to install a ricky stator timing plate, I'm just curious why you say that you shouldnt go past +4 without the crank being welded, how does this effect the crank? Same with your response Sredish, how does the timing effect if you have pipes or not? I am just trying to decide how far to advance my timing, my crank is not welded, I have cpi pipes. What do you guys think?
  3. I run- Premix oil= Yamalube 40:1 Tranny= Bel Ray 80w Radiator= Engine Ice (in the summer). 50/50 antifreeze (in winter). Maxima chain wax for the chain. And a 50/50 mix of gin and tonic on the weekends
  4. Thats not a bad price! Its $5.50/gal. here in utah.
  5. I hear ya on that, but I have a hard time dropping $50 on chrome hangers.
  6. It takes at least 3 or more to get my shee cold started, but after shee is warmed up it only takes one kick. I think your stressing over nothing man. When you say it takes 3 kicks to start after 1 hour, what is the temp outside while it is sitting for an hour?
  7. Thanks for the info! I am going to install the timing plate on tuesday
  8. Led, do you know the torque specs for the flywheel? My plate from ricky stator should be here today also. Btw Led, I like your sig! Pulp Fiction kicks ass!
  9. Just throw some Bel Ray-80w in there and you'll be good to go!
  10. A lot of people are running the V-force 2's. I havent talked to anyone who has ran the rad valve.
  11. I run k&n pod filters. My bro runs the pro design on his yfz450 and loves it. I wouldnt waste your $ on reed spacers unless you have bigger carbs and need the clearance.
  12. The extremes are excellent tires from what I have heard, I run the haulers myself. My only complaint with the extremes is they only come in one size (at least from rocky mountain) 20x10x10's. I like to run the 22x11x8's.
  13. Thanks for the info, I think I am going to order an adjustable plate from ricky stator.
  14. When I changed my impellar I put in a ez-drain by pro design, switched to engine ice, and put on a noss head. You may have to replace the clutch gasket. Just be careful when taking the clutch cover off and you should be good.
  15. What is involved in modding the stock timing plate?
  16. Bump! Bel Ray 80w here too.
  17. Ha Ha!! Me too, I am getting ready to switch to 40:1 though, still a reject!
  18. I'm all about porting also. But, I would get the noss head first, advance the timing, etc. I look at it as prep for porting. I would love to port my bike right now, but I dont want to rip into if i dont have to. I am going to wait until I need to rebuild my top end and then port. It all comes down to what you want though.
  19. What oil mixture are you running? And whats your jetting at?
  20. Fo Shizzle'
  21. My friends are still trying to talk me into it. I'm going to pass though. I dont feel like having someone wreck into my shee. Too many damn people.
  22. I agree with what the other guys said. You need to sit her down and discuss work is work, and after work we can chill and relax, but when at work its strictly business.
  23. Bump that! All I run is yamalube.
