  1. Yes, you have to cut the front fenders slightly for the cpi's to fit.

  4. I guess I should have told you what octane boost I have, I bought some rocket fuel from rocky mountain atv. (they recommended) And I have some VP octane booster. But I think you guys have talked me out of it so I will just run the 50/50.
  5. I would be all about that if I had access to it here in utah. The only Vp I have found is 112 octane for 5.00/gal. I was going to run the 50/50 with the 112 VP and 91 out of the pump.

  9. Lets just say a dune port is like when you put on aftermarket exhaust and intake. The gains from getting rid of the stock exhaust and filter are tremendous, a huge difference! The dune port in a way is like opening up the potential of the engine that much more. I cant wait to get my dune port!!

  11. I've never heard of a thick white oil. I use the Belray 80w. It looks just like tranny oil.
  12. The Cpi's pull very hard on the top end, kick ass pipes! But if you are mostly riding trails they may not want to be your number 1 pick. You will lose some bottom end. I am not sure about the Dmc's, probably because not very many people have them I would imagine they are comparable to the fatty's.

  15. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to lean!! Jet up man!! Start about 300 on the mains and 27.5 on the pilots like everyone else has said. You will notice a huge difference in how much better shee runs after you get her jetted right.
  16. So I am running a Noss Head with 19cc domes. I havent gone riding yet since I have installed the head. I am planning on running 50/50 race gas & pump gas. So what does everyone think of using octane boost compared to the 50/50 mix? I'm sure the 50/50 will be better, but I am thinking of maybe just using some octane boost with the pump gas once in a while. Any opinions?
  17. Thats right! I was smoking some crack there or something for a minute! Thanks Dlnoss! I wasnt thinking of that either when I go riding it will be a a lower elevation.
  18. You'll be very happy with the extra power! What kind of riding do you do? Trails/dunes?
  19. Why would I want to do that??? And lower my compression even more. Not an option. I bought my shee brand new (it was the floor model), but I am starting to think it was rode quiet a bit before I bought it.
  20. Alright, I took off the factory gasket, re-installed the noss head, made sure all of the o-rings were in place, and even used a thin film of liquid gasket on the seal. The bike ran damn good! The compression is reading 150psi. Higher than its been so far, but still not high enough. Any other suggestions?

  23. I dont think the stock cable will work. It probably wont open the slide up enough. Check out www.terrycable.com thier thumb throttle will open up to a 44mill carb I believe.
  24. Were 23 What about you? My friend has T-5's, k&n, port, bored out carbs, milled head, and I cant remember if his timing is advanced or not. Very fast bike though. I'm curious to see how his port will compare to yours because he is trying to talk me into getting my shee ported where he got his done, I am thinking about Linsday doing mine.
