  1. you should hit up Jeff over at F.A.S.T. racing. There should be some good posts on "product reviews", about him. I'm gettin one.
  2. yeah. try 290's that may work..
  3. I think it would, just about even ya out. I had that setup wit twenty-twos and worked great. I was also at 4000ft. If you do a search on those tr6's you'll find that they are meant for a stock 350. That the reason why I disided to chang'em.. But if your gonna keep the stock porting, you should be alright.. Hope tis helps.
  4. Right on, Souper Sport! Keep me posted on those other places if they call you back..
  5. I would clean out those carbs. That would be a good start, then do a compression check too, this will give you an idea how new that top end realy is.
  6. I'll be goin july 7,8,9,10th. I should have my motor and jetting ready to go.
  7. Im all for it, also sick of the dirtwheels magazines and all their 4 stroke hype. I guess its out with the old and in with the new.
  8. I have a 1.8t with a bigger turbo and injectors along with 110,000 miles on it and it still runs great. At 70,000 miles I replaced the timing chain. That is the only real work it needed besides some extra hp
  9. For all you Socal-ers, There is a place in Pico Rivera called Impereal powder coating. I just called them and they said for prep and pc it is 150, now thats for blk, slvr, chrm, wht. For the other colors that need a clear are just a bit more. Now I just need to figure out what color I want.
  10. I live in Claremont Ca, there is another member on here by the name of "nightride", he lives about 10min from me. We ride Pismo and Glamis. Sense we are right in the middle.
  11. as long as you tighten one bolt hand tight it should be good.
  12. Janssens +3 +1 Elka shocks w/res The only thing I've noticed, that I dont like, is the bump steer. I just have to adjust the shocks to a softer setting, doesnt cure the problem but helps out alot. Im still glad I bought them but wish I had a adjustable axle now
  13. Nice. Looks like some good size paws on him.
  14. I thought you pull on the throtle spring not push?
  15. check out lonestars website they have the angles for each style of riding. Good luck with adjusting the arms, it can be a bitch. Mine arent exactly perfect but they're good enough. All you need is the staight side, frome a ruler and an angle finder. You can pick that up at a home depot or somethin.
  16. I just mailed my cylinders out to Jeff for a all around "fun port", I'll let you guys know how it turns out.. Oh yeah, there will be sum Rockets on the other end of those cylinders too. Cant wait, thanks again stclark816 for the reference to Jeff.
  17. What where you runnin for mains before? If the plugs have oil all over them you need to drop the mains 2-3 then start from there. Keep doing the plug chop until you get it lookin good then adjust your needle and air screw maybe pilot. Good luck!
  18. Sofar I like mine. Adds great stability. Just wish I had the heim joint cover.
  19. Im runnin the 2 in 1 foam filters from toomey.
  20. I just thought that the clampons are a little more sensitive to weather changes. I do think the box makes it a pain in the ass to get to the carbs but hey, I ride alot of dirt..
  21. I think if you some how extend the rubber mounts that are right below the seat, that may do the trick.
  22. Just sold my k&n clampons, put back on my box with no lid, I figure jetting is going to be easier without the clampons. What main should I be runing for sea level. Oh yeah I got rocket Pipes comin soon, so thats what I would like suggestions for.
  23. Anyone going to Pismo beach this weekend? Me and 8 other riders will be out there thur till sun. This is the 1st-4th of april.
  24. I'd go with the white brothers carbon fiber, that looks great sounds great and weights pratically nothing... Good luck.
  25. It seems to take a long time to hit the power band. I usually let of throttle, then slam it agian, then it hits power band. These are on the keihn 28 pwk's.
