Well Been riding it like this and finally I'm tired of it. won't go into first gear while riding it it gets tuck betwen mesh or something. finally I tore it down and checked it all out, I know the tranny and everything in there is good it's a new motor only ridden it 2 times now. anyway when you shift it up 2-6 it does fine with no probs and downshifts fine. but when you shift down to 1st it won't go into gear you have to tap the shifter a few times. its like that when it is off and when it is running the adjustment and stuff is fine it just gets stuck on top of the shiftstar. so I put in a factory shift star and it shifts perfect everytime. Kinda pisses me off anyone have any suggestions how to make it work. anyone have a shift star( not Cut) that they would trade or sell for cheap?
  2. they gave me the factory blaster cable I guess its for the TORS and such but they were the only shop around that even had a blaster cable, so I guess I'm going to have to order the tors elim. kit for the blaster to get the cable or can you just buy the cable without having to buy a tors elim kit?
  3. the blaster cable simply will not work atleast the one i got today won't, is there some kind of magical trick i need to do to make this thing work?

  5. what kinf of throttle cable do I use for a graydon 2 into 1 system with a 35mm keihin pwk, went and picked up one today from the local shop they gave me one from a cr500 but it is way off to much cable not enough housing..........thanks
  6. Traded a set of 35pwks for a 2into1 setup, very smooth deal! Highly recommended!

  8. Everything I have is listed in my Sig. just wondering if you guys could just give me a starting point. I traded for a graydon 2:1 with keihin 35mm pwk and clamp on filter, where should I start on jetting with the mods I already have. thanks for the help..don't know anything about jetting single carb.

  12. That is by far the most knarly trick in the world, and I don't care who agrees with me when I say the judge that didn't give a perfect 10 should be beatin. In my eyes that is one of the very few tricks that should be scored that high. BY far a 100

  15. these are way bigger than stock and are ideal if your going to be ported or are ported they give the mototr more fuel which makes it run better and gain topend, if your not ported and have some minor mods they will probably be hard to get tuned in, even then they would probably make the motor sluggish and kill throttle response on a stcok motor

  17. I do the same type of riding{West Virginia} and I can say you'll see the biggest gain through pipes unless you get it ported. The possibilities for setting up your banshee for personal preference is limitless. Alot of it is trial and error just ask some guys on here I can guarantee 90% of us has switched stuff on our "shee" atleast 3 times to accomodate for our riding styles. if you need any help just ask there is a few gncc guys on here, me being one of them and we need a good grunt.......................Josh

  19. set of 35mm keihin pwks in good condition they have powerjets installed and they are set up for gas but also have the stuff to switch over to alky... $225 shipped OBO no pics as of right now

Seen a set of I believe 35mm keihin flatslides on ebay for $150 buy it now i believe it was yesterday i don't know if they're still there. i have a set of 35mm pwks I just got they ave powerjets and everything to switch them to alky also. soon as I get them on my bike a tuned in if they don't run right I'll probably be selling them. I'll keep ya posted
  21. 3rd generation electrician right here work with my dad.here in west virginia, we'd get around $1200 out of something like that.
  22. I only pay $1.25 a jet, lol the guy a buy my jets from told one of my friends that a jet for his yfz cost $20. then my buddy not having a job said....damn, I'm going to have to pay you next week for this jet......haha then the guy said your ignorant give me $3.00

No, power jets are just another form of dial-a-jet they have a hose that runs from the carb bowl to the intake side of the carb and you can adjust your jets to the riding conditions with just a couple turns, they are gas carbs or you can run alky i have all the stuff I just don't know what size main jet to put in them so I can get them dialed in?
  24. yeah he said at the moment they are setup for gas but he is giving me everything to change them over to alky if I want to in the future.....I have no idea what all that is or how you convert them..anyone care to inlighten me
