  1. hahaha, I just prank called that piece of shit using the ebaums world arnold schwartzenegger sound boards. He sounds like a 14y/o pussy!
  2. im 15, and had no problems whatsoever installing the idle kit by myself. It sounds more complicated that it really is! -Brian
  3. Paintball guns would make things interesting
  4. momemtum also plays a major role in hillclimbing. Unless youre going 1/4 throttle up the hill, the shee will dominate!
  5. They need to put that thing in the new james bond movie! Anyway, im wayyy to much a lead foot to have one of those things (crashed moms car at age 12).......... I hated that piece of shit anyways
  6. Those things are just 450lb turds My cousin has one and its slow as shit, i could never see that thing out accelerating my stock shee, let alone my brothers ported, piped, hi compression, blah blah blah. If you read the bikes that guy has previously owned, youll notice that a yamaha banshee is not on that list. I must admit, i thought my suzuki lt230 was a fast quad before i got the shee , and i used to fantasize about beating banshees and stuff, thinking my quad is so great... You really dont know what its like until youre on a shee. Theyre fast little buggers
  7. JEEP is 100% correct. I have an uncle who is a city cop, and he said the same EXACT thing! SHOOT TO KILL!!!!
  8. DING DING DING!!! I think thats it, and thanks! Whoever said obsessive compulsive disorder is just dumb... i was talking about my knee
  9. HAHAHAHA theres like 20 Gaylord fockers!!! Maybe its a joke?
  10. Dont the later model lt's have powervalves???
  11. Thanks man, but that thread is completely useless to me. I even read it before posting mine. I was asking about the 06 YFZ450's and any NEW FEATERES!!! Also, much thanks to loco for that fax, coulda got me a great price, but im gonna have to wait now Watson, that sucks and i know what your goin through. Now I have to watch what i eat before i become a fatass, because of lack of exercise and everything
  12. Hey guys, I got back from surgery this past thursday, and when i came to i realized there was a big ass leg brace on me. I was like WTF!!!! This was supposed to be a simple out patient, back doing sports in 2 weeks thing (arthroscopy). Anyway, turns out my knee is way more f'ed up than the doctors predicted, and I will be in this huge soft cast for 6-8 weeks . THey said I have OCD, a torn Meniscus, and both cartlige/bone deformities. They think they fixed the meniscus and they shaved down the bone. Anyway, I was planning on buying a YFZ450 real soon, but thats not gonna happen now . I figure if theyre gonna be better, i might as well wait for the 2006's to come out . Does anyone know when theyre coming out and what new features theyll have. DOes anyone know what the hell OCD is, and the recovery time? Thanks -Brian
  13. Kinda similar story here; started out on a suzuki 230. Then jumped on a crf250r, then banshee. The power (or more likey speed) transition from the crf to the banshee wasnt anything suprising. I just wonder how i got by riding that old 230
  14. Is this shit for real, or just a BS proposal? Sure is scary!
  15. Hell yeah i play cs. So does dusty3678. My name is "Cream Of Emu" if ya wanna play sometime!
  16. Haha, the fat kid in the end was mad funny. Was he being shot by a paintball gun or something?
  17. go to d2gfilm.com They have a pretty cool modded xr650 there, that they run in the baja 1000. It shows and explains alot of the mods they used and stuff. Very cool
  18. Haha, it took me till 700 before i realized i was wasting my life!
  19. Im gonna have to sell my shee ......................... But my bro still has his modded 98
  20. Thanks Loco, And Banshee~, i dont have the money, but got my first job today so thankfully i wont be one of those spoiled little rich kids on yfz central. Ill be paying for the whole thing outta my pocket, and i feel suprisingly good about it BTW, i think we should all post pics of our banshees on YFZ central like Banshee~ did, and take over their fourm
  21. Hey everyone, Im 15, live on long island ny, and currently ride a banshee. I am considering buying a new yfz, but am concerned about the reliability of the machine, and have a few questions. 1) How would the yfz do in fairly rocky terrain, with trails ranging from WOT to very slow, basically just trail riding? 2) How would the YFZ shocks compare to the works double rates? 3) How often should valve clearences be checked, and how hard is adjusting/checking them? 4) Does the cam mod decrase reliablilty? 5) What are some of the problem areas/weak points of the YFZ, and what should be done first to prevent big problems down the road? 6) How would it compare "Speed wise" to my stock banshee? 7) Is the Yamaha 4 year extended warrenty worth it for the machine, if it costs $500? What is covered by the yamaha service warrenty? Thanks in advance for all the help guys BTW, I poasted this on YFZCentral first, and none of the 32 low lives who saw it cared enough to respond! Please only people who OWN YFZ's respond!
