  1. Pretty good, except you miss the difference between open mindedness and gullibility. Just because I don't beleive your bullshit doesn't mean I'm not open minded, just intellegent enough to think of for myself. I see through your religion when it's convienent mentality. Preaching one minute, and begging for nude posts the next. Is that what Jesus would do? Uh, OK. Nice try, thinking on you feet like that will do you well in you career as a WalMart greeter. But come on, Mom and Dad jokes are the bread and butter of the slow witted, but I'm sure you get that a lot. One comment to one person is hardly random.
  2. Good work dumbass, you make this too easy... Let's see, does your town meet hick criteria? Less population than Glamis on a good weekend? Check. Known hicks in the area? Check. Jeremy "the hick" Schell is from Missouri. Hick references such as sex with a family member? Check, you accused that one yourself. Step away from the farm animal and accept your hickhood. Sheesh, I just got home from a bike night with over 1,000 people there. Try that in Missouri. Except for the Branson snowbird festival, that isn't happening. And I thought the internet was supposed to open the minds of those who didn't normally see outside their sphere.
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHA... You freaking kill me man. I wish you had a show. Witches only exist in your feeble mind. It really is your imagination. Get over it. If you don't find it attractive, more power to you, but if you really believe that people think they are witches, you need to move out of Sisterfreak, Alabama. And 75,000? Gee that's Disneyland on a good day. You do live in a hick town. Return to your porch, and play us some more tunes on your banjo.
  4. From what I have heard from people that rode them, they handle like a desert truck. Lost of lean in the corners. But fast as hell in a straight line. I don't think he makes them anymore either.
  5. Unless you are pounding on it hard, reservior size is a smaller factor. But, when you are, you have more heat dissapation with the greater surface area, more oil to break down less (more consistant valving under stress), and sometimes you can mount the reservior in a cooler spot, Yes, the effects are marginal, but they do make it better. After a good ride, feel your rezzy's. They get hot if you pound on it. That breaks down the shock oil after time.
  6. Larger reservior, larger shock body, more oil capacity. My TCS is all the way around larger than the stock shock. The other brands are the same. Usually I have found that the adjustments on a full aftermarket shock actually make a difference. Not so much with the rebuilds I have tried. But that was a while back. I gave up on them a few years ago. I am sure they are better now, but from a design standpoint, you are better off to start with something designed to do what you want then trying to make what you have fit the bill. You can come close, but almost never all the way.
  7. The Honda is quite a bit better than last year. Once you start getting into porting, and cam mods, the TRX is every bit as fast as the YFZ as an MX bike. And they stay Honda reliable. The YFZ has a lot to compete with this year. Let's see what the yellow bike does.
  8. Nope, my judgement is based on experience. What I have rode, and what my friends have done. I have rode Old and new style Roll Arms, Fireball, Lone Star, JD Performance. Running Ohlins, Axis, TCS, Works, Elkas and stock revalves. On the Banshee, the Axis was by far the most plush (The Elkas I have ridden were never on a Banshee). They blew everything I rode clean out of the water. No bucking, no packing, no fading. They were no joke. I haven't rode your stuff, and I certainly wouldn't say it's bad, but part for part I just don't see where you can take a inferior part and make it perform better if both are dialed in. As far as price, it doesn't matter to me. I want my toys to have the best parts available. I'll just save till I can afford to buy what I want.
  9. The Elka Elites I have are the all around shock. I have them dialed to be plush while going slow, and absorb the larger hits while riding hard, or jumping. These are on my VForce, if they suspend that pig well, the Banshee will be not problem. I hear some others are coming out with low/high compression adjustments, but those are the only ones I know are out.
  10. I PC'd mine about five years ago, and I have never been asked to se the numbers. It may be a problem if I ever sell it, but hasn't been an issue yet.
  11. I never asked when I bought it. It is about 5 years old. Oddly enough I bought mine 1 month before a friend bought his. Exactly one month after I had mine fixed, his quit too. After that no problems.
  12. Yes, doing better than ever actually.
  13. I wish... I did get a chance to ride one once.... Heaven.
  14. If you don't hammer it into the ground, they can usually be rebuilt.
  15. I'm running all Lazer Star lights. I'll post some pics tomorrow when I can host them. I have two in the stock positions, and two on the bar clamp. The reason I run two taillights is that they were sold as set of two. I mounted them to the grab bar right underneath the rear fenders. I ran them in series to cut the current consumption a little. They run plenty bright. The stator that I run is a 260W from Montclair Yamaha. I don't know where they got it from, but they offered a lifetime warranty on it. I have popped it once, and they had no problems fixing it, but I kept the receipt. I don't think they sell it anymore.
  16. Take some better pictures, a lot of them, and repost. It looks bad, but it's hard to tell with the pics as blurry as they are.
  17. Set the Axis shock up for you 100%. You will be surprised. I mean nothing against anyones product, but if a fully dedicated aftermarket shock can be beat by a stock rebuild, it wasn't set up right. I have rode a Banshee set up just like mine, with the difference being Roll/Axis where I have TCS/Fireball, and the difference was like night and day. And I have the TCS rear, not a stock rebuild. Setup is everthing when it comes to suspension.
  18. Besides, I have heard from some that have done this that roll is not as expensive as they thought. It's not like rebuilding a Laeger ProTrax.
  19. No, you already were here. To check the suspension action out is a little difficult. The easiest thing to check will be bump steer. Bump steer is the amount of steering change throughout the arc of suspension. (God I don't wanna get into this again) Put you quad up on a stand and take the front wheel off. Make note of the extended shock length. Compress the dhock fully, and make a note of that length. You may be able to get these specs from the manufacturer if you have aftermarket shocks. Remove the shocks and place the a arm in the spot where it would be if the shock was fully extended. Straighten the hub out so that it is pointed straight ahead. Use something like a tie down to hold the bars where they are. Measure the angle from the hub to a set point such as a balljoint that moves with the spindle. Raise the suspension until you are in the spot where the shock will be fully compressed. Measure the same angle again. If you only have a couple of degrees change, you are good. If you have anything more than a couple of degrees, then the suspension is not working togother. You will feel it riding. It can be dangerous. Some setups are so bad you can see the steering move as you go through the suspension. My guess is that you will have noticible bump steer as these front suspensions are way different. This is the least dangerous of suspension problems, some of the more difficult measurements could cause you to lose a balljoint during riding.
  20. Any reputable motor shop will sell you the valves. I would have the head checked out. If it needs valves it probabloy needs a valve job as well.
  21. No reason, it's just what the small Lazer Stars are rated at. I did mine before Ron came out with the LED's. I can just replace the bulbs, and I probably will when one burns out.
  22. I'm on the other side of the dunes, is that too close to dislike you?
  23. I have been trying to sell my banshee for a while now, and mine has a lot more work than yours. The new four strokes are dropping the bottom out of the banshee market. Even close to the dunes you may not get three grand american. Put it in the paper and see what bites.
  24. Screw that, I run all the voltage I can. Yeah my lights suck at idle, but I am using all I got in lighting. I run two 75W flood lights, two 35w pencil beams, and two 15w taillights. I have more light than most of the sandrails I see on night rides. It also depends how you wire things. I wired the taillights in series to give them less power. I also run a 260w built stator. Was this cheap? Nope, but I never feel like I am outrunning my lights anymore.
  25. Couldn't you just have used a capacitor to kick them off? Does your stator charge the battery? And why so many switches?
