I promise you that 03 750 does not out handle the 05 gixxer 1k. The gixxer 1k is one incredible machine and probably the best and most well defined street bike I have ever rode or has ever been made for that matter. It is just that good. I actually just got off of one, can't ya tell. The only flaws on the 1000 I could find is tight clearnace full turn between bars and tank, a little hesitation between off and on throttle response. That can be fixed though.

You heard wrong!! Vic really depends on the riding you do. If your just a trail rider or dune rider and not looking to adjust your suspension based on each and every change in terrain, then works is a great shock. If you need very accurate suspension control cause "every second counts" to you, then look at some elka's or some of the high end adjustable works. Buy what you need and not what you don't. If you hit big jumps and rough terrain for long periods of time, then get rezi's with them also.

I agree there. The R is a different match at that point. I have 2 friends one with the yfz and other with the r, both piped and cammed. They race everytime we go to LS like 50 times. They are almost as dead even as you can get 2 quads. They are usually within a foot of each other unless someone errors.
