  1. Hit Shane up on this site for a rebuild. I believe he uses all Elka components but for a better price.
  2. You need some reed gaskets, loctite and use new circlips on your pistons. Also do a leak down test when your done.
  3. You must of linked up to the hubble telescope. J/K sorry Led couldn't help myself.
  4. How much compression you running, what size domes?
  5. Im definitely going to do some testing and dyno time with them before I give them up. They are just really killer pipes and I'm not going to sacrifice quality for a few ponies here or there.
  6. Not just yet, but if I do decide to change.
  7. Anyone know the turnaround time on a custom set and if they are still having issues with their plating (peeling/flaking)? Any other problems complaints issues fitment etc? Thanks.
  8. Cascade Innovations does as good a job as can be done I think. Meat head does real well but not sure if he does much polishing of others stuff.
  9. Here's their reply to my e-mail. "We are still kick'n ,our website is going thru a complete reconstruction. I think in about another 2 weeks it should be back up." Their e-mail is: [email protected]
  10. Oh no I didn't mean test all different stuff, just what worked good for you or your set-up when your done.
  11. Their website is under construction. I sent them an e-mail to see if they were still in business. I don't have their phone number or I would have called. I'll let you know if I get a reply from them.
  12. Sweet I want a full report, pipes, reeds compression, timing etc.. . Hopefully I'll get mine mon or tue.
  13. I got a 4mil. I think he may have another 4mil and a 7mil left.
  14. I was curious about that too.
  15. Sure is, now they need to coat the pistons with it too. Stuffs prolly too heavy.
  16. What did you run as far as a intake/reeds, v-force?
  17. I'll let you know before long. Though I'm sure it varies quite a bit, depending on how hard you ride and how well you take care of your motor.
  18. That's the best stuff bar none. It's the super trim adhesive 088090 but it may just say 90 now. Another product I think would work good though I havent tried is liquid nails. I can never get the damn stuff off my hands so it's bound to stick grips.
  19. Yea the nikasil will wear over time and instead of honing and rebore you just get them replated. So yea you will have to find a plater that can do it. Cost will be somwhere in the heighborhood of 150 to 200 dollars for the pair of bores (both).
  20. Yea I was only going to get the cylinders from cascade, no work to them though. I would send them out for that. At this point don't really need them for that.
  21. Also, I talked to Jeff at FAST today, he can get the 7mil cranks for around 800. That sure is better than a grand.
  22. Patience has never been one of my assets.
  23. What's the point of 300 ft lbs of torque? Wouldn't that just spin you around and around.
  24. Whats the biggest crank made? 20mil? Wonder how much they are? You gotta sell crank just to afford a crank.
