It certainly is that very same Sundahl-framed Banshee.

409 is a odd size for one of our Cheetah kits (I'm not sure about the older designs though). Unless the person bought a 400 and later bored it out and re-Nikasiled it, it's probably not a Cheetah... But he states that it's a monoblock design, which is what makes it interesting. Do you have the link for it on eBay?

I'll see if I can scrounge some up. I haven't seen any around here in quite some time.
-
Yeah, I think it's safe to say Jesse Jame's life does NOT suck.
-
If you're worried that the Stage III porting might be too much, you could go for a milder port like the Stage II (which is generally used for all-around riding, which sounds like what you need).
-
$1200 port job? Ouch!
-
At this point, it probably won't be a television project, just a collaboration project between us (it's a personal quad for Jesse). It would be awesome to be on TV, but just the chance to work with James will be pretty awesome.
-
Heh, I didn't figure you would remember the name but I had to ask just in case you really had a grudge against this person and remembered his name in spite. BTW, your guess about the project was right.
-
You got someone who was clueless about Banshees? Methinks that you probably were talking to someone you shouldn't have been.... Pretty much all our regular service reps are knowledgable about Banshees. If you could get me his/her name, that would be great. We've had problems with people who shouldn't be talking to customers getting on the phone and trying to wing it. Needless to say, not good.
-
Customer service is tough, especially on the internet because as the old saying goes "an unhappy customer will tell 12 of his friends, a happy customer will tell one or two". It's even more extreme than that given the anonymous nature of talking from behind a computer screen. BTW, glad to hear our techs called you back. We've really been working hard on straightening out our tech department (the hardest department there is to work in considering some of the *ahem* "unusual" questions you will receive... The techs breadth of knowledge has to be VERY impressive to keep up). All I can say about your guess on our next project is that you're very very close.

We've built a couple 610cc Cheetahs but no 645cc bikes yet. In fact, we're building another 610cc right now. It should be done in a week or so.
-
Nope. I'll post something as soon as I'm allowed to (plus, things should be appearing soon on our website detailing the project).

Thanks for the welcome... Trinity's next big project (if it goes through, which it looks like it will) will be HUGE... Can't give details on it right now but I'll mention that you all know the guy we'll be collaborating with on the bikes... He's on TV. It will be awesome.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. People who are knowledgable are not easy easy to find and currently here at Trinity, we have a few and are always looking for more. Due to the specialized nature of the business, most of the time we end up training the people and it's a long process. Trinity is also restructuring several things in the company. Many of the people we have had customer service problems with in the past have left the company. We have a new GM and are trying to turn around several things that people such as yourself have had problems with. No offense to whoever built your motor (you seem to be very happy with his work), but Trinity is a company with over 30 employees, many of them working long hours but the fact remains that they have families to go home to at the end of the day. It is just a job. By the way, I don't know if you guys know it, but I read these forums constantly and I do all the advertising for Trinity. Believe it or not, the people here at Trinity hear your complaints and we are trying our hardest to fix some of the recurring problems we have here, but with the size of the company and with its longevity in the industry, many of these problems are long-term fixes and are not easily (or quickly) corrected.

Longest wheelie/stoppie in San Andreas?
rocketpig replied to PolyKarbon's topic in General Banshee Discussion
It's a major fault line that runs north & south through California. It's also an extremely popular (and kickass) video game. -
That seems to be a general trend with Japanese companies across the board... Back in the 80's, most of the streetbikes had cool names (Hurricane, Katana, Ninja, etc)... Now only the Ninja survives and the rest have gone back to numeric names. I liked the old names.

Not entirely true... The electoral college was formed to force a two-party system, which eliminates the possibility of "regional" presidents being elected. Namely, in the age before mass communication, it would have been possible for a president to be elected by only catering to the highly populated areas (NY, Boston, Baltimore, etc) while completely ignoring the rural portions of the country. The electoral colleges eliminate this problem. Besides, we're not a true democracy anyway... We're a Republic.

Trinity is supposed to have another quad in the game that you can unlock... And it should be a Banshee (even though it might not be called that).

How about those Idiot Red Sox!
rocketpig replied to BansheeJerry's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I vaguely remember the game. I made the mistake of watching the game with a die-hard Sox fan. Wow, what a night. I remember nothing after 11pm. -
There are a few companies that make them, including us here at Trinity. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures since the only triples I've seen have been shipped overseas before I had a chance to shoot them.
-
We've already built one 610cc Cheetah but we haven't had a chance to run it yet. Hopefully sometime this season I'll get some pictures on the site. We've built a few 593cc Cheetahs though.
-
I sense some animosity here.
-
Some crazy bastard came to us awhile ago and put a Cheetah in one of those... Lunatic.
-
Poly, don't get too frustrated. I'm probably considerably older than you and have been doing this stuff for years. And trust me, there are artists out there that make me feel like a no-talent hack. You just keep to what you're good at and don't give up.

Same here. Building the site itself isn't that bad (or the template, that is). Digging up all your work, converting it to .jpg or .gif, and plugging it all into the template is the pain in the ass.
