  1. Actually, my mistake... It was less than 25k. Add in the paint, all the billet stuff he threw on it, etc. and the price rises quickly. Just the engine, frame, swingarm, etc. came in around that price. All the other stuff that was done jacked the price up over 20k.
  2. BTW, your friend might want to double-check that compression guage just to make sure it's not inaccurate.
  3. Stock Banshee compression should be around 110-130... If he's running alky, it should be around 200. He shouldn't even bother running race gas at that compression. He can order new domes if he wants to bump his compression (highly recommended).
  4. I think it was somewhere just slightly north of 25k. Ouch.
  5. It's already been shipped to a customer in NY. Hopefully he'll ride it.
  6. On alcohol and with out of frame pipes, your friend should be turning well over 70 hp and probably somewhere in the low 80s with a 400cc Cheetah. That usually what we get out of our 400cc alky Cheetahs.
  7. We offer the Cheetah in 400cc and 421cc sizes. He should eBay the 38mms and pick up some 35mms. That motor (since it was ported for drag racing) should be top-heavy, but if it has powervalves, there should still be some bottom end if it's tuned correctly. Your buddy might want to try switching out the carbs for smaller units and then really spend some time tuning it. There's no way stock cylinders should even be close to that Cheetah engine power-wise.
  8. He's right... If he is running a Cheetah, stick to dual carbs, especially if he got Stage IV porting... The powervalves should give enough bottom end to eliminate the need for a CV carb. But if you're beating a Cheetah with your stock cylinders, your buddy has something VERY wrong with his setup. There should be absolutely no contest between the two.
  9. We sell them! But if you're not interested in getting a new one, eBay usually has them.
  10. Your buddy bought a Stage IV port job and 38mm carbs with a stock bore motor? That's a drag race setup. It's supposed to only run from the mid to top end. And 38mm carbs are complete overkill on a motor that small. We usually only recommend 38mm's when you're running larger than 500cc. You are completely over-carbureted with that current setup.
  11. The bike only put out 135 horses on the dyno... But then again, it does run on pump gas.
  12. To tell the truth, I'm not really fond of the paint scheme either... I preferred the simplicity of the red and chrome bike we finished in December. But it's still a very nice paint job.
  13. If you saw the paint in real life, it's amazing. The pictures don't do it justice.
  14. Here's a new project bike you guys might want to check out. Three grand for the paint alone.... http://www.trinityracing.com/pages/projects.html
  15. The 593cc or 610cc will get you around (or above) the 150hp mark. As an earlier poster said, you'd probably be better off selling your old Passion engine and start from scratch because very few of the components will be interchangable.
  16. It all depends on how much money you want to spend... You could start with a Cheetah Cub or 420 kit or go for a full-blown Cheetah kit up to 610cc. The real question is "How much horsepower do you want?"
  17. Here's one:
  18. Just to give you an idea of what that quad is probably worth, we sold the Sundahl Banshee sold for something like $17,000.
  19. It shouldn't matter if the head is on or not, as long as you can screw in the plugs. I sent you a PM explaining what the problem might be.
  20. Well, I did just buy a new camera phone yesterday...
  21. Hahahahahahahah!!!! It is fully nude but they don't serve alcohol. Or at least that's what I've heard... I've never been in there.
  22. The check is in the mail, Brad.
  23. We've drastically changed our customer service policies... Many of the problems people had with the "old Trinity" are fixed, and we're constantly working on fixing more.
  24. Someone put a Mikuni on our CV system...? We sell them with Keihins normally.
  25. Thanks, it's a never ending project... There's always a need for new stuff but unfortunately, I don't get enough time to get all the things I would like added up on the site.
