I keep running across cracked cases that happen because of the chain damaging them. How's this happen pls? Are these chains breaking? Are they simply jumping off the sprocket (and how exactly does that happen if there's a common reason?) and balling up at the front sprocket? Just curious...from all the cracked cases it seems to be a coomon occurance, but is this something Banshees JUST do or is it common to all high excitement quads? Thanx! ~cork

At this point, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with them...I've got everyone wanting them and all I wanted to do was help out a kid that sounded like he could use a break, been nice if he answered back before all of this got started. Where are you located and you do know these aren't in perfect condition right? At this point, I'm kinda hopin someone runs off with them before morning...

* One for the Ladies... Why do men snore? When they sleep, their balls cover up their assholes and they develop vapor lock.. ..sorry, i live with a bird

Congratz on the new toy...it doesn't come as much of a surprise that someone who loves Banshees, also loves firearms. I've got Ruger's P-85 in 9mm and it's been alotta fun. Not sure how I feel about carryin it around, although I think I can see both sides of someone who might want to. If you are someone who enjoys reading about their passions..check out a fella named Massad Ayoob on Google. Quite an amazing man and his insight on firearm related things is never a waste of time. Good luck and happy plinkin'! ~cork

Brydon...where do you live? I have a set of pipes here...Toomey T-5's to be axact, that were on the banshee I'm rebuildin when it was flipped. With alittle tweakin on one of the stingers, these pipes would have worked fine. I'm just one of them anal types that can't stand to put something back together that isn't close to perfect...and perfect cost me $650 bux, but for free..I don't see how you could go wrong myself. I'll never use these and if you got any ideas about how I can get them to you, I'll seriously complicate your life..lol (actually, once you see what JUST a new set of pipes does to your banshee, you will immediately develop an overwhelming desire to customize the living hell outta her and then, congratulations...you'll be as officially hooked on it as the rest of us in here...*sorry man..I'm tryin to help here...realy I am...lol) Lemme know k? It'd tickle me to death to be able to help someone out in here... ~cork p.s. if you get these..you'll need to learn about jetting your carbs some, which luckily for all of us, there are some resident carb wizards in here that can tell you everything...and re-jetting isn't too tough or expensive it just takes alittle time..

Thanx Jeff and all the rest of you as well...Yer right Jeff, while it looks like I was asking about carb sync, the real issue is that I'm in wayyy over my head with jetting issues. I picked up a rolled '98 with an awesome "National" motor in it ( PWK 35's, Cool Head, Hinson, Pyramid, shift star mod, impeller upgrade, along with a fresh motor re-do...) and bought a new set of Trinity Stage IV's to put on it and between that and it's new home wayyy up in the mountains, I got my hands full here. I think that if I can just get the jetting worked out I'll have most all the other stuff under control. I wanna take you up on that synchro tool offer Jeff, but haven't had the time to fire you out a pm yet. I been working alotta side jobs to make some free cash for Banshee parts lately and finding spare time has been a real challenge. If you can tell me who to send payment to, I'll order one here shortly. I've been reading up on jetting quite abit too lately...(* how in the world do you slice up a spark plug?...certainly not with a hacksaw...right?) Thanx for all the support...all of you! I'm pretty persistant, so if this is something that isn't COMPLETELY outside my abilities, it sounds like a real interesting little adventure (at least for the moment, snort, snort) ~cork

I bought a bike that was set up to run near sea level and took it to a place that's closer to 6,500'. How big a deal is carb sync amd can I get by, at least temporarily by reaching in with a set of calipers and setting both slides to identical heights at a given throttle position, or like many other things have I completely missed the boat on this? Happy Ho Ho to each of you...you folks are the best! ~Cork

Man...lookin at those pics just makes my heart ache....what a GORGEOUS machine! You should be very proud of yourself over this one dude.. ~Ed -
Watch yourselves if you're considering buying from Extremebanshee off of Ebay. These folks are from Flowood, MS...not to be confused with a fella that goes by the same name on BHQ. I bought what was supposed to be a "perfect" stock rear axle from these folks and it took 3 of them before I got one serviceable enough that I'd just had enough of dealings with them. First one was bent pretty badly, Second had the threads stripped off...third one is just plain ugly, but I'm done messin with the whole bunch of them. Keep yer eyes open on this one...Ebays got a few problems and it costs us money findin this out.
