Yes, they are two totally different rides when it comes to 2 and 4 strokes. My wife has a Raptor and I ride it once in a while, but it doesn't compare to my shee.............. :beer:

The POR 15 sounds a lot better than the ppg auto paint. I think the paint will look like $hit if you use it after a few road trips. The POR can be sealed and will probably last a lot longer........... :beer:

The pictures look pretty good, and even at 1700, its pretty good for a 97. Just check everything over and look for things that you know about, like the standard tell-tales (ie. plastic stress marks, bent bars). But for that price it can be fixed up really nice.............. :beer:

Ok, I'm a little confused here. I read up there that this 250R is smokin' hot and all, and nobody can beat it. But there is one point that I can't get over, IT'S NOT A 250R. I mean come on CR500, snowmobile motors, crotch rocket motors, these bike's are no longer 250R's once the 250R motor is taken out. So, these 250R's are not smokin' Banshees, they are CR500's in a Honda frame smokin' smaller motors (duh). I mean this is my .02, but if you are saying that the 250R rapes the Banshee, at least make sure it is a 250R motor that is doing it. Don't get me wrong I know there are some fast a$$ R's out there and I'm sure a lot of them are killin' some lesser modded Shee's, but to take everyone it comes up against, I think not................ :yelrotflmao:

It's not really dependant on your cubs, it is the compression that the motor builds that determines whether you can run pump gas, AV 100LL, or race gas. If it is above 155 you need to be running a higher octane fuel to keep the cylenders from detonating (ie, prolonged abuse - holes in pistons). So first you need to check your compression and see where that is at. It also depends on the rest of your mods, but start there once you build the motor............. :beer:

The 19cc domes are going to increase your compression a bit, but you are going to have to check it with a compression tester. If it is above 160 you need to run race gas, and check your jetting to make sure it is right............
