  1. Yer warmed the bike up on old plugs, put the fresh ones in kept WOT for 10 to 12 seconds ,killed the ignition, but didn't keep the throttle pinned when killing ignition, will this explain the deveation on the plugs
  2. Hi there, they are the same set off plugs just moved around a little, that's what has me puzzled can't seem to work it out why it seems richer on the other side.
  3. Hi all,my mods are T5s,K&N pods, lightened flywheel, everything else standard, elevation around 350ft above sea level Temp around 65 degrees, the bike starts 2nd kick from cold with choke out then first time when warmed up,and she really pulls hard, maybe a slight hesitation of idle nothing to worry about, i haven't adjusted the carbs in anyway apart from addind 340 mains but im just having probs reading my plugs so i wonder what you guys think maybe lean, rich adjust needles air screws so on?
  4. Hi can someone give me the part no. for the stock carb pod filters thanx!
  5. Thanx guys for the excellent advice much appreciated
  6. Hi everyone im planing on building a 421 cub motor buy my only concern is will i be able to run it on super unleaded 97octane as that's all we can get over here in England or just regular unleaded my elevation is 350ft to 500ft above sea level and the tempreature is around 40 to 70 degrees some people say that cubs don't like pump gas so i thought someone can help me out as i don't want to throw money into someyhing that ain't gona work or screw up the motor?
  7. well when riding if i lean down and touch the kickstart shaft that's where most of the viberation is coming from like i say there is some vibes coming from the clutch and flywheel but the worst of it is defnitally coming from the kickstart shaft
  8. Hi everyone, went out today and noticed there is a quite bad viberation coming from the kickstart shaft and a slight viberation on the clutch and flywheel side so i dismanteled both sides and everything looked fine no play on flywheel or clutch basket the bike seems to run fine apart from this annoying vibe the bike is a totally stock 2003 model for now, any ideas what the problem could be thanx?
  9. Thanx! just ordered a manual just hope its not to serious
  10. Hi everyone, ive just bought a 2003 banshee bog standard engine, dura blue axel,ITP alloys, maxis tyres, the bike has around 20hours on it and is used as a street bike only, the problem is when riding theres a strange rattleing.scraping noise, and theres a quite noticeable vibration comeing from the flywheel cover and a slight vibe off the clutch cover, but when i pull the clutch in going down hill the rattleing, scrapeing noise is still there and the viberation does stop, when the bike is in neutral theres only a slight rattle on the water pump and the engine sounds sweet.Axel nuts are nice and tight by the way this is my first Quad just hope its not the crank bearings please give me your views.
