I had a blast there , it is more pea gravely than sand but there are some pretty big bowls and open dunes of it... there is also a small mx track , woods , and mudpits. I thought it was worth the 5 hr drive it took us... although if you have time an overnight stay would be better... I believe they may also have lodging info on the site too.

We are not running out of oil , not only are there huge reserves in the gulf and Alaska that havent even been tapped , they are now seeing old (once thought depleted) wells regenerating themselves. Our usage has increased with our population but we havent been keeping up with our demand because of dickhole environmentalists who prevent new rigs from opening. As stated before , Iraq is vital to fighting terrorism not only because it is a magnet for them to come over there and be killed by us , but also because their neighbors are taking notice of what is happening and seeing that they too may have a chance at freedom... this alone is more powerful than any bomb we can drop on them. Lots of younger guys think they are too cool for them but they dont look too cool with their brains splattered on the pavement... Im not making any assumptions on your riding ability here , but one thing I do know is that people in cars pay no attention to bikes so defensive driving is a must.
