    I have K&N on my bike with oil. No dust in carbs. Girlfriend gas knock offs with oil. Bell of carb is covered.

    Yes ball joints show wear. They may not just pop out. But anything can happen. Why risk it? The shocks aren't meant for the bike. It's been discussed 1000x. The suspension sponsor Matt has gone over in detail on why it does not work. The only idiot that swears by it is saying he hits bowling balls buried 1/3 under the ground and can't notice it.

    so only when your installing? You never get the front end of the quad off the ground riding? Your comparing a 250R (the suspension geometry that basically all bikes are based off of) with 450 shocks to a banshee (I don't even think the engineer thought about suspension) with 450 shocks.

    I'm being honest. For the time and headache you put in, what's that 50 bucks? That's 50 bucks for convenience. A small price Id be willing to pay then dealing with that cobbled mess you have. Order it, pay, plug it in, done. Not cut this,solder that, ohm here, plug this, unplug it, jump that. What sounds better, easier, less headache?

    There's a sponsor here that sells BRAND NEW HARNESSES for like 50-60 bucks. Now if that is to much money, sell the bike now.

    Maybe not a ring snag, but will def eat up rings. If the ring becomes sharp enough it will egg that cylinder out in no time.
