  1. when you replaced the swing arm bearings did you also replace the tube in the middle if not that tube could have mars in it from before and burning up your new set of bearings. or be too tight in some places causing it to squeek because it is rubbing the bearings wrong.
  2. are your pipes on both sides getting hot. If so u may have yourself a nice air leak somewhere just because you have 160 psi out of each cylinder doesnt mean its air tight. When metal heats up it expands and could be a small air leak that gets bigger when it heats up i would definately do a leak down test since this was just rebuilt. another thing you might try to fix the problem is checking the jetting while no mods were made when rebuilding before you could have had an air leak and running too rich in both cylinders before you rebuilt it.
  3. call jeff and order his 65 mm cheetah cub and it wont matter if u throw a rod again cuz for 2500 bucks u can have a bullet proof motor that will rape all those 4-pokes.
  4. send them to jeff at fast racing just send the cylinders and he will port them you can find him on here just look for www.farmandsandtoys.com ad and he will do what is best for you at a decent price he is in kansas but shipping on them would be rather cheap.
  5. buddy if i were you i can tell you how to fix this problem and its all electrical my suggestion would be to start with a new flywheel if you shard off a bolt in there its probably fucked up the gap on the flywheel and needs to be replaced. check to be sure that the voltage regulator and the ground wire below it are making solid connection to the frame before buying fly wheel. Test your ignition coil and pickup coils resistance before buying. get a clymers manual and follow the steps and trouble shoot. dont opt out of banshees for a 4-poke.
  6. welded crank saves you problems any extreme banshee rider will tell you that a stock motor can separate the crank. If the crank has been welded it significantly reduces the chance of this happening. this saves you problems in the long run. as for the guy that said he was worried about people doing engine work scares you but the fact is being a builder for several 2 strokes i have seen the damage caused by a crank coming apart and most that do this do it for a reason. and its to prevent damage in the long run. i did it to my brand new banshee 2 days after i bought it.
  7. simple answer to question number 1 there is a groove for the clip to go in on the right side of where the starter mechanism goes. in that hole it will fit perfectly and thats where it goes. as for the problem of your passing the gear it will do that up until the time you put on the side case cover because the return spring or the one that gives it tention is not held in place. the second one is really not my area of expertiese but from what i know you put the set screw to where there is no play on the clutch lever when all hooked up and then back it off half a turn then put on the outside nut and washer and adjust the rest on the top.

If i were you i would tear the top end out of it. it sounds like to me you a siezed piston ring and have no compression. if you run it too much like this you could cause some serious top end problems if you already havent. Most likely it is blown up. and needs to have cylinders bored/honed and new pistons and rings put in it.

  11. if your looking to do the entire wireing ebay the cdi box but rest i would advise going to a dealer. I ebayed 2 of them when i did full rewire i got them and sent them back to the seller because they were shitted up with burn marks and sold as mint condition. The cdi new will be about 270 on ebay 200 the voltage regulator new is 25-60 bucks the wireing harness is 100 tors i hope u got rid of. the stator only way to go is new from rm stator 125 bucks whole set will cost u about 400 new go that route and make sure you get what u want. It will save u headaches. i would sell you my old 200 watt stator but it needs new timing plate and that will cost you as much as the stator itself. free bump and good luck
  12. that quad is nice as hell thats y 8 grand. A person could do a little to a bike that looks that good to make it the best machine out there. Put some rocket pipes or singers on to start but gl on sale if i didnt just put a cheetah cub in my bike i may have just bought this one.
  13. it is lean if it is white after 4-5 mins. You can read your plugs after that if the problem is bad. The white on plugs in 5 mins tells me your lean. Really lean.
  14. cpi's hands down. I will try to find the specs on trinity, cpi, t5's, and t6's and let you do the deciding.
  15. i totally agree compression test is necessary. Sounds like the compression is not equal. This means time for rebuild.
  16. start with the tors and ebrake if you have it. If this doesnt fix the problem change mains. These are most probable causes of your problem. When my reeds cracked it wouldnt start either. Flooded itself too fast. start here.

  18. Reno's bid me at 2600 but they said that was lowball estimate. They still have the bike and digging deeper into it. I hope i get the final estimate so i know what to sue for. I think i will go at 3000-3500. When i settle out i may be taking it to jeff for the motor work and shit. So i will let you know how it turns out.

  20. y would i put the same motor back in my bike. Bigger is always better. Think about titties do you like small ones. I sure as hell dont. Making a bike is like titties bigger is always better.
  21. dont everyone jump at this question at once. EBAY, Rocky Mountain ATV, Toomey just about any part supplier carries them. EBAy is cheapest place to get a new one but have to worry about negative feedback people.
  22. man i know about jeff i just figured damn for idel screws why take it to him and slow him down on bigger projects and fuck a normal person can put idel screws in in 30 mins. It took forever for them to get in and then they halfassed it. Gay i know thats what i get for taking it to someone other than jeff. But when the shee is up and going again it is going into 10mil stroker and going to be faster and badder than ever so i guess that is always good.
