  2. Need help real quick I have a 91 banshee my buddie tried to make a race harness, and its not working. On the CDI there is 2 plugs, one to the stator, and the other runs to the coil. The wires ( i think) are colored as follows, Orange w/ black stripe, Solid Black, Black w/ white stripe, and red (either solid or has a black stripe) Can some one tell me what the wires do? I mean if they run to the kill switch or the coil, and what color goes to what side of the coil?
  3. I need a CDI, Complete Wiring harness, or one with the tors removed, and also looking for some UNI FIlters that clamp on the carbs. I have 30mm carbs and if it matters on the harness, and CDI my banshee is a 91

  8. I have a friend that is a dealer, and he gives me a good deal on all that. I run amsoil in all my cars, and my banshee.
  9. I would say the Elkas for sure. Also may want to look in to TCS. I had them on my raptor best upgrade I ever did.
  10. what will it do if i run straight race gas? I am running the 20cc domes now. one of my buddies has just a shaved head, and he runs 112 on it, and has had no probs.
  11. Ok I have some 20cc domes right now, I was thinking of going to 18cc domes.. I run 110 race gas with amsoil, what will changeing the domes do? I know more comp., but will I notice a HP increase? I have a slightly moded banshee. No porting as of yet. But I have trinity outta frame pipe w/ stingers, V-force II reeds, 30mm carbs, Noss Head, 20cc domes, timeing advance plate, couple other little things.. Will the 18cc work for me?
  12. Found my prob. I took the cylinders off today, the right side rings are froze to the piston.. NOT GOOD... Will be replacing them Wed.
  13. I use the Amsoil 2-cycle oil, I was going to buy the other stuff, but the guy told me that they are pretty much the same thing with just different lables. I use it 50:1 have no probs. out of it. Since I have used amsoil, (maybe in my head) but I think I feel the bike rev faster. You get what you pay for so I just say buy it.

  17. Yeah it does feel like its hitting a rev limiter. The tors is just unpluged, I guess he never blocked it off. I need to look in to that. Also I have rejetted the carbs. I ordered a bigger set 30mm, and also ordered a lot of jets..
  18. I have a 84 Toyota Trail Truck almost complete. It has a lot of new parts that have never seen the trail. High Angle Front Drive Line from Jess, Dual T-Case adapter (billet one), AllPro Off Road Dual T-case skid plate/cross member, Kongs High Steer arms, X-Over steering set up with himes, 4 link rear susp., Custom Flat Bed, Relocated gas tank, Lincon Locked, and Factory 4:10 gears. 15x10 eaton black wheels, NEW 35x12.50-15 Dunlop Mud Rovers, and a lot more things I cant think of. Here is the prob. The motor is tore down, I have all new parts for it, machine work is done, just needs to be put back togather. I have a New Rebuild kit (pistons gaskets everything), mid range RV cam, old downey header, flowmaster exhaust, no cat. But the good thing is the MOTOR is out of a 90 FI truck. I have converted the harness to my truck, and it ran ad drove great till I blew a head gasket and messed the motor up. The truck just needs the motor put back into one peice and its trail ready!!   19. I have a prob. close to the same as yours. I have no power in my right cylinder. I put new carbs on, new plugs, did a comp check, its a little off, but my right cylinder seems to be off. I am going to do a new top end, and rewire the bike.
  20. I run 25psi in my Bridgestone 120/90-10's and 2-3 psi in my JR Drag Slicks..
  21. Man I have no idea on the nerf bars, they were on the banshee when I bought it. You might want to PM SickBanshee990 I got it from him, he should know. Also on the water pump, I bought a new Pro Design Impeller, and a New Water pump kit witch has a new bearing, seal, and gasket. Should that fix my prob.?

  23. The tors has been off the banshee since I bought it. It is just unpluged? I guess I need to get the manual out and rewire it.
  24. My banshee will not hit the power band. It will go and ride down the street, but it only has power at the 1st touch of the throttle. Do you think my pistons are bad? I have new carbs, new pipes, new reeds, pretty much new every thing other than top end.. What else could be the deal???
