  1. do you still have that alum. kick starter, if please contact me at [email protected] thanks
  2. all new 500cc banshee (4 stroke). its not the final version, just what they could put together from spy photos etc. they claim it will be the fastest production quad on the market but not sure when it will be released. they did say they have to sell everything (old banshee's) in the warehouse before this hits the market.
  3. i replaced mine twice since 94. if you pressure wash your bike, be carful. water can get in there and will cause it to fail. thats what happened to my first one. second time my degree failed, sheared apart inside. something happened to the stator and the output wasn't correct. made it very hard starting. only replace it when you are having problems. as mentioned above, replace if you are trying to run some heavy duty lights etc. i purchased my last stator from ricky, with an adjustable timing plate. imo it was the way to go. bike has been running strong and starting on 1st or 2nd kick.
  4. Thanks, its a +1 leager stem. also put +2+1 lsr a-arms along with -1 1/2 swinger. the setup works out pretty well for everything so far. do mostly track but hit the trails often as i can. dman
  5. last one. not much is stock besides the plastics.
  6. lost clarity when i down sized the pics. any ideas how to keep it clearer?
  7. MORE
  8. not sure why a few of them didn't post. here's the rest.
  9. a few more
  10. I seen a lot of nice banshee's on this thread. keep it up. love the pics. I finally got a few pics of my 94'. just deciding on a new color, thinking orange lakers at the moment with black seat. this will be done hopefully before the races start up in march.
  11. i'm looking at the rocky mtn book. i ride mx and now need new rims for my mx6's. have to love christmas. i have the ultimate conventional beadlocks in the rear. i wasn't looking to spend a lot in the front, along with adding weight. my frontend is +2+1. the quad-rok's are 68.99 each and the ultimate conventional 84.99 each. beadlocks are 134.99 each. i have been running .190's for a while. just wanted something a little stronger. any imput on these items would be great, such as weight and durability. thanks dennis
  12. i'm looking at the douglas ultimate conventional beadlocks and the itp t-9 pro locks. any pro's and con's on these two rims would be great. just need a little help picking one out, they are close enough in price. thanks dennis
  13. hey all, we'll went to go riding this weekend, warmed my bike up, put my gear on and she wouldn't start back up. i'm getting spark out of my wires without the boot (plug end) on. spark seems weak to say the least. i am getting new boots. i am getting a meter to test all the lines later tonight also. my question is, would a stator or coil work part way. work but not enough to start the bike, or it either works or doesn't. i just want to be clear on how the parts work. i've been going over all my connections and grounding points. until i get the meter i'm not sure what else to do. just wanted to get some opions. thanks dennis
  14. thanks for all the advice, i will just jb weld it. its all just cosmetic. thanks dman94
  15. can i weld the case? my chain broke and bunched up on the counter sprocket. it didn't crack the case to the point of leaking oil. just part of the serial numbers broke off. a large enough area that just takles away from the bike. these cases are matched so its not worth it to swap out. so what options do i have if i want it to look nice again. thanks dman94
  16. the reason they are free is the axle is slightly bent, still ridable. you can see its bent but not feel it. the swingarm has some tress cracks, but can be rewelded. if your looking to shorten one, this would be perfect. i would rather see someone recycle these parts then just throw them out. the swingarm has the axle carrier. all you have to do is pay shipping, my zip is 28080
  17. thanks chemical, great deal, can't say thanks enough. i found a new place to go. dennis
  18. i read all the reviews about the g-force axle, went to order. would have to wait till the end of july for it. i was now looking at the dura blue eliminator axle. its listed for 309.95. any feedback on this axle or another one in the price range. i really can't spend 400.00 on a lsr now & my stock axle is bent. so no riding till i get one. thanks for all your help dennis
  19. thanks for all the imput guys. i'll go with the beadlocks. thanks
  20. i am getting ready to get new rear rims, maybe tires at the same time. my current rims are twisted. i am looking at the 2 in the title. is anyone running these or have any feedback on the 2. the prices for each rim are only a few dollars apart. i didn't know if there was any advantages to either. no one i know is running these an its hard to compare from just reading in the books. i will be running 8" rims for mx. i am also currently running 18/10/8. i was thinking of going with a 19 holeshot mx4 or the 18" mx6. any feedback on the 19" tires. how did they do on the track? i run 18"'s an like them, but was thinking the 19 may be worth a try. i can only get one or the other that is why i am asking for any help, pro's or con's of the 2. thankyou for all your advice on this topic. dennis
  21. thanks for all the feedback, i will go and try a few on. i'm glad to hear they saved your ribs, that stuff really hurts. that was my big worry, didn't want to hit something and just have it split into pieces. thanks dennis
  22. i've been looking at a few different mid line ones. my question is, will one protect the ribs more. some are labeled impact and others deflection. they all look the same as for coverage of plastic (shape). i'm not as worried about a deflection as i am breaking another rib. in reading the details that follow them, they are all using the same poly. some may be a little thicker but they don't list that. i was hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this for me. i know one is better than having none at all. i was looking at the: fox r3 thor aftershock thanks for your help dennis
  23. my ale nuts just aren't cutting it anymore since i put a round house on. i was just looking for a good reasonable place & $$ to order from. this is for a stock axle. thanks
  24. just watch out for the d.e.p. they love a good chase. i moved out of that waste land for these reasons.
  25. thanks a lot, it worked perfect. i'll be getting these shortly. thanks again for you help dennis
