alright. im thinking im just gonna get some tusk ends. i shouldve done that in the first place. ill just be out 30 bucks. i dont want to go through the trouble of returning them or anything. does that sound like a better idea than trying to make these ones work?

i dont think many people use them. last time i checked they didnt even make atv heads so maybe the atv heads are new and havent been given a chance yet. i know when i do get a head ill be going with a noss head though.

alrighty. i got the outer one seated. i realized the tie rod is in the wrong way. i also forgot to check the length on each end. does the direction of the rod really matter? and does the length matter? they looked even but i didnt measure them. they fit and the steering works. i just cant get the steering stem joint seated. ive been hammering at it for a while and its very hard to get to. nothing pisses me off more than when i work on things that just arent working. i might try the loctite thing. thanks guys.

sorry. i shouldve explained. when i put the balljoint into the steering knuckle it doesnt grab it. then when i try to thread the castle nut on the balljoint just spins. im thinking im not hitting it hard enough to seat it. i just dont want to break it or anything. i was hitting it pretty hard though. ill try again and see if that works.

sorry to bring up an old subject but ive got a problem with my tie rod ends. they just spin when i try to turn the castle nut onto them. i tried holding them with needle nose pliers but that didnt work. i also tried to hammer it into the knuckle harder. not working either. it seems like there isnt enough material to hold them in place or something. any suggestions?

well youd have a hard time if you didnt have that boost bottle. good thing you have one.

not quite sure what theyre called. the discs with holes that go on the spindles? hub guards? i dunno what theyre called.

I got some triple rate front works shocks. they are not adjustable for anything. i was wondering what the metal rings on the body were? they slide up and down on the body and I cant figure out what they are for? should they slide? thanks.

2 strokes > 4 strokes. did you make sure the air filter was clean? carbs cleaned? new gas? spark plugs? muffler packing? check that stuff. stators are somewhat expensive if i remember correctly.
