Can you use a stock "or equivalent" grill with fullbores or do u have to choose one of their goofy ones? I'm going for all black with my black frame. The quads going to be taken apart and everythings going to be black or chrome/billet. Anyone know a cheap place to get them?

It's yamalube 2-s racing 2 stroke oil btw.

I have this nasty little problem with mine where the nerf bars prevent my foot from going all the way down so I have to shift, take my foot out from undr the shifter, shift...

Your best bet is to get yourself a griot's garage catalog, or go on to mother's website. I use that stuff all the time. Speed shine the plastics, mag/aluminum metal polish on chrome, billet, anything metal (that stuff really works great on headlights and taillights too. And as for that pesky residue from graphics, get a dremel and a soft wire brush on LOW speed and brush away. Mine is dirty 97% of the time. When it gets really bad I'll clean it and polish it and it looks great, but not for long. Good luck on the blingin.

I have an 84 xr200r i want to sell. Will sell complete or part out. Anyone know someone with an 82-87 xr200?

If I use injector oil in my premix will it do any damage or not run right? I just uncovered a case in the back corner of the garage and didn't know if I should go ahead and use it.

girls will do that, it can be a bitch sometimes, but it'll work itself for the best. As for the shee, if u feel that way send it my way. anyway good luck on that and i hope it works out.

Nothings wrong with 4 strokes, they can just never match the thrill of a shee. The 450 comes pretty close though, it's a great quad. Like the . said, keep ur shee till they fix the inevitable first-year problems.

Hell yea! As soon as a date gets set put up a new thread. I'm not reading 17 pages of posts, but damn that looks like some good fun!

Hey what kind of discount we talkin here? I've been looking for a cool graphics set for all black fenders, those ones look damn cool! How much is a full set like that?
-
It's the clutch side a.k.a. the left from sitting on her. It runs fine and everything so I'm not going to take apart the whole crankcase and replace gaskets and seals just for some smoke and the occasional bog. Thanks anyways.

Yo mercykiller, try reading the "i have been threatend" thread. If you ride and are interested in this stuff it's all good. Fighting on this site ends NOW. So here's to you.

... "group hug"

I've blasted the streets a few times, but i know all my neighbors and they won't call the fuzz. I stay off them anyway, don't feel like gettin my license suspended. I ride snow every winter. I ride by cops all the time, they even wave at me!
-
So is arguing on this site. Hey everyone here rides, right? Go start a fight with someone else, somewhere else. I demand that you, chipdog, apologize to bignasty1, and you, bignasty, do the same. Just check out the philly riding trip thread in general discussions. Someone signed up just to hate on me! Trust me fighting ain't worth it, it won't do any good. This is what I want to see: Chipdog > < bignasty1

Advice for the future...Don't ride on the street! If you see a cop and you know you can get away easily go for it DON'T go back. If you have a small chance of escape surrender. Some cops will let you go, others won't even ask questions just ticket ticket ticket impound court, etc... If you're riding with someone else and you know he can't get away, stay with him, or go back like you did (just act like a spectating citizen). Stay off public streets, and always carry a dozen donuts when you ride anywhere other than a legal track.

Got a problem and figured I'd ask everyone here before tearing stuff apart. My left cylinder puts out some decent (white) smoke. There is oil leaking out the spark plug hole, too. Coolant level has remained fairly constant. Engine hasn't been taken apart, except for a coolhead being put on. Plug had black deposits on it but still had good spark.

I was in a hardware shop, got some small hoses, nozzles, a reservoir, and a $10 water pump. Set up a radiator sprayer that works great, and only cost like $30. I have to reach down and turn on the pump and it sprays the raddy, steams everywhere, and runs significantly cooler. Thinking about mounting a button on the handlebars but it's good for now.

Powerband, overheating questions....
Maverick302 replied to PolyKarbon's topic in General Banshee Discussion
You'll easily be able to tell when ur in the powerband, especially the Shee. Try riding it in first really slow, then hit the throttle, and after about a second and a half it really starts to pull hard You shouldn't have any overheating problems, even with the stock cooling system. Just keep the coolant level up, and make sure air can flow to hte radiator. If it does overheat, you should feel it bog and limp around. -
Coolant level is fine, barely went down after about 6 hours of riding over 3 days. I took out the plug it was partially soiled with black deposits. IDK if it was oil-fouled or carbon-fouled, but I cleaned it and put it back in and it ran the same. I'm gonna wait for a few replies before i rip the carb off and check the reeds.

Had a problem and figured I'd ask you all before I started rippin shit apart. My left cylinder puts out some decent white smoke, while my right does next to nothing. Left plug is also leaking oil, haven't taken it out yet because it runs fine and probably isn't fouled. Carbs are 28mm mikuni flatsides, both seem to be jetted properly. No coolant leaks or anything, engine was not taken apart, but head was replaced. My first thought was the reeds. Am I 100% right or could it be something else?

OK, Getting back on topic. I'm 14, but I do agree with Chase. If I may say so, I am as mature and knowledgeable as many 30 yr olds on this site. I remember looking at the hq at 10 yrs old, thought about becoming a member, but said, "no, these people know too much, they'll think i'm stupid", so I waited till I knew a bit, and had a nice banshee, then joined. There is a lot of dumb shit going on but kids get excited (i mean, who doesn't ). I say a certification test be taken before being able to be a member. Just my $.02.
