  1. I have the two kill leads connected together into one kill switch. I have tried disconnecting the kill switch from the coils completely and I still did not get spark. The PVL is a used unit that I have seen run, but I have not thoroughly tested anything on my bike except for continuity. :geek:
  2. Word.
  3. I think this is probably pretty close to what is going on. If there is any weakness in the needle/float system, then the little bit of extra volume/force that is put on each needle by the new pingel will overcome the needle and begin flooding the carb circuits. Are you getting fuel coming out of your float bowl vents? :geek:
  4. I am my own two year old, and I probably can't handle 13 hours.
  5. You oght to come to Oregon for Memorial Day......... I think a bunch of us are going to be at Sand Lake.
  6. My work number gets turned off on my blackberry as soon as I am out of the shop daily............ That seems to be the only way I can enforce any boundaries with people calling me from work all the time.
  7. Phones are tools of the devil (my old boss used to say that....... I thought it was hilarious). Did anyone come up with a current code?
  8. I fooled with the thing for a couple hours yesterday and I still don't have spark. I disconnected the kill switch and didn't get any improvement. I also regapped the stators and re-worked the plug wires.............. still nothing. At the moment I am starting to consider that I may not be able to kick the engine over fast enough to get spark out of this system (I'll have to test that theory when I get back from Vegas).
  9. I would also like to see a picture..........
  10. WTF? Where did that whole thing come from? No bikes and a boat?
  11. Sand Moutain Nevada is way closer than Oregon.............. If that is the way everyone is choosing, y'all might as well just suggest Glamis. Sand Moutain isn't all that nifty.
  12. I am realtively single and I still cannot come up with time to work on anything.......... It drives me nuts sometimes. ::
  13. I have never been compelled to ride my Banshee with my headphoens............ I am not sure why. I thonk you are correct, that it is generally not a good idea. The street bike thing is different for me......... I alsways ride with my headphones unless I have a passenger. Of course my Harley is load enough that I would have to wear ear plugs anyway, so it kind of splits the difference.
  14. Wow, that class is pretty wide open for engine modification (relatively speaking). What sort of hp and torque are those engine making at the flywheel? How much do people pay for the engines in that class new and claimed? :geek:
  15. Right.......the pass / nopass is pretty standard. If you have to use the OEM intake, does it dictate which OEM intake? If it does say which one, does it have an rules about modifying it? :geek:
  16. Why are you getting rid of them?
  17. You might need to look at that again. How much closer is Sand Mountain (middle of Utah) to Winchester, OR?
  18. I can probably make all of those. the 4th and Labor day are also on my calendar to go ride something.
  19. It's Swahili for Detroit smells bad.
  20. Nope, but I have not touched the bike in two weeks. Tomorrow is going to be the day I get to work on it.......... I can feel it.
  21. Rodney Carrington is awesome! I love that video. It is a permanent fixture on the drive in my truck.
  22. You can do quite a bit with those 500cfm Holley two barrel carbs. What are the intake manifold restrictions in you class? :geek:
  23. Awesome truck!
  24. Word.
  25. Bottom of the cylinders would make sense.............. I was mostly just giving Dave a hard time.
