  1. It's not that crazy if you are a good rider in the dunes. If you are trying to win drag races, then it's a terrible idea.
  2. I posted something on this in your thread in the Drag section. :geek:
  3. A midget on a CR500 will do 80's up there as well................. A 10mil cub going in the 80's up that hill is probably about all that engine has even in a super-light chassis. :geek:
  4. How about you get a longer arm and some more tire....................... you'll find out what that thing can really do. I suspect you'll be right there in the low 90's as well without having to do much else. :geek:
  5. You need to make sure that the cases and the stator plate are deburred. I would try an OEM stator if that doesn't work. Who knows what dimensions RM is making their stuff to. :geek:
  6. Where / why did you find that?
  7. Dave definitely tought me that hting Tyler likes.......
  8. You don't have a "purdy mouth". Will you be my friend?
  9. The jumps in the 7000'ish rpm range seem to be very quick and have an abnormal recovery. SInce you were on an engine dyno with what I assume to be a fairly rigid method of transfer to the absorber, I suspect there are some non-real data points contributing to the curves in that area. While the engine may have done something odd there, I am not sure the chart accuractely shows what happened there.............., but that's just my $.02.
  10. .......like I said, forget about it. I don't think those data points were real. :geek:
  11. Those jumps are an anamoly of either the dyno absorber, load cell, or the engines running condition (hickup, miss, etc.). I think you can ignore them. :geek:
  12. You have a "purdy mouth". Will you be my friend?
  13. I like the first graph better as it has a faster horsepower rise rate for a comparable torque curve between the two charts. What setup generated that? :geek:
  14. We need to do that! Charlie is a huge d-bag and I would beinterested in hearing how he screwed other people over besides me.
  15. Oooohh............... Can we talk about Charlie Ohton and PS now? I am not a fan of him or his website.
  16. I am an arrogant asshole, and I have to carry my ego around toddler seat. It's name is Gary and you have to watch him or he just starts masturbating, but atleast with respect to the engineering side of things, I have probably earned the right to let Gary loose on occaision. That bike will go faster if it is setup for the hill or the track, but not both the way it is now. I gave that bike to Jared with a cold Oregon tune and it will not be at all suitable for the altitude where Jared rides. With that said the bike ran a 3.70 flat that I am aware of, and I am certain the bike is capable of low to mid 9omph runs up sand mountain. It's going to take a longer swingarm and different tires to make that happen though. :geek:
  17. Due to somewhat random circumstances, I know Joel Janssen, so I will probably get an arms from them again. My second choice before going to Lonestar would be Cascade for a dune arm. I had a Custom Creation arm on my old him bike that was very well made and could have passed for a dune arm. Those guys are in SoCal if they are still in business. :geek:
  18. Lynn is a good worker for sure............ If Dave was bashing my work, I would like to hear why. This is the first I have publicly heard of it.
  19. I think they make Razr's or Rhinos for that.
  20. I don't know about that. Your truck ought to pull the trailer just fine as it is. Atleast don't lift it too much.
  21. It will go faster, you just need to stop putting money in your truck and make that bike more of a hill runner and not a track/hill bike like I was trying to pull off. :geek:
  22. If you're only making 85hp, the 9 paddles SLS's ought to get it done.
  23. Yeah, I was 3 years old in 1984........... I am not sure how significant that is to me. My 10mil was also awesome.
  24. Yeah, Roger is full of BS and you pretty much can't trust anything he says, but luckily he's not involved with much of the customer service side of things.
