  1. An 8" rim with a set of 8 paddle Extremes might be ok as well.
  2. $150 would get it done. If you have another price in mind, let me know. I don't mind offers as long as no one is offended if I say no.
  3. What dune area do you ride? Where did you run on a dyno? What length swingarm do you have? What is your sort of riding style (cruise, agressive, etc.)? Do you do any frequent drag racing?
  4. Word. Grind the upper shock mount a bit and then compress the spring to get the lower mount in and you are good to go. A solid pair of hose clamps make a good redneck spring compressor in this case if you do not have one. I thhink gimmeeabeer has done the vice grip compression method in this case as well.
  5. I suppose you could also call Skat-Trak.
  6. Spike lug nuts are cool until you find a stud that is longer than thefemale thread in the lug nut. Then, you tighten said nut all the way. Thus, the nut does not apply force to the wheel, therefore wheel wiggles around and falls off. :ermm: This is why closed top lug nuts are illegal in most forms of racing (except for maybe boats, I hear they don't have lug nut issues) .
  7. I might not be if you are planning on cruising around with your fly down.......lol
  8. Someboday has to want this thing.......................Offers? Anyone?
  9. You guys are killing me here. Offer? Anyone?
  10. Both, Dale and Tony, are great guys. They are really good friends at the track and off the track. I suspect you are going to see another #8 car with Budweiser sponsorship next year. I am not sure how that works with all the NASCAR collectible stuff. I suppose it woill be worth something if it actually says DEI on it. Jeff (#24) is also a really good guy. He is a great guy for a midget (I am not sure he even came up to my arm pit height). Every time I was around him I felt like I was at a Formula 1 race (all the drivers are small for the most part). The Hendrick engine program is the key to alot of folks success this year. :geek:
  11. I was the person who said the DEI building was pretty much just a museum these days. Teresa is a nice lady, but she has certainly been a victim of the circumstances in this whole deal. I don't think anyone could have avoided alot of the crap that has gone on at DEI. Corporate racing is an odd business. Among all of the odd things that happen is that when one of the popular technical folks leaves alot of the other people in the company tend to scatter as well and then whoever is left winds up holding the bag. That's one reason you always have to have your ears open, as to avoid not having a chair left to sit in after the music stops. :geek:
  12. Are you planning to start walking around with you fly open?
  13. I wouldn't say that's the only advantage.............as there are others, but the cost-benefit of any if them is not very good.
  14. I think Dave calls in the Stunt Cock as an alternative to Viagra.................... I suppose you really need ot have seen the film Orgazmo to appreciate that.
  15. If you are in OR, I have a guy that can do it. If you give me the VIN's by Wednesday morning I will get them run.
  16. Yeah, I saw that before. Folks like that are one of the main reasons I don't hang out on PS much. Douche bags like that pass themselves off as engine builders and tuners. :shoothead:
  17. I am not sure what that means? Is there a Stunt Cock involved? I am not sure what I posted before that meant either..................
  18. I suppose it's all about what you are used to seeing.
  19. A used Pingel valve is hard to come by at a reasonable price. Most of the ones that come up on eBay wind up selling for more than new.
  20. Ok, I am too lazy to list the thing tonight. I will hold off doing it until next weekend. PM me with offers.............
  21. Glamis is always dry except for in the shady side of a large dune early in the morning. Pismo's sand moisture level changes alot through out the year.
  22. Depending on what kind of AV fuel you are using, it very well could have deteriorated the seals in the petcock (petcock is a funny word by the way) .
  23. Alright, that's kind of what I was figuring. THat information just seemed like something I ought to know and file away for a rainy day, as it were. :geek:
  24. I think you are just picking up the slack left over from me not ever having anything nice to say.
