I got em and there sittin on my shelf wayyyy to low without risers

Thanx for all the replies, yeah its just leakin around the stud. My concern is if i just take the nut and washer off and silicone it, it may stop the leaking above the head but will coolent leak into the cylinder?

Always seems to be coolent leakin from the middle studs on my noss head, on top of the o rings is there any kinda sealent i can put in there so i dont have to keep rippin the head off

Just rebuilt my banshee, spark looks great plugs are wet just wont fire up, any ideas

That kinda got to me becuase whats he gonna pull everyone walkin out of the store with a case of beer over? I drove perfect like i said i didnt even have a buzz on i went the speed limit stoped at all signs and useed my turn signals and boom he just decided to pull me over, here in pa after 12 midnight its legal to pull somone over without probable cuase but it was only 9 30 when all this took place.. Id never ever drive sloshed and i just dont understand why i was pulled over sure i was in wrong doing but for crist sake i was just gettin a 12 pack to go back to my house and a have a few beers... Sucks but well see what happns

Id say u need bigger pilots becuase the chokes only givin it more fuel so it makes sense thats it not gettin enough on bottom play with ur idle screws a bit before u change the pilot

Yup my lucky day, heres the story went fishin with a couple of my niehbors who are younger than me they all have quads so there pretty much good buddys of mine, so we went out fishin, i had a couple beers fishin maybe 5 budwiesers at most. Im 20 and 2 of the guys with me were 17 one was 16 no fish so im was pretty beat so i figured pick up 2 12 packs on the way home go home have a few beers and pass out,well didnt quite work out that way, i stopped at a store got a few 12s and right as im puttin the last 12 pack in the car a cop drives by stares me down couldnt help but get a little nervous so i close the door throw her in drive and take the backroads from the store, well bout a minute later a cars comin up behind me fast and i knew it was the cop. I wasnt drunk by anymeans didnt even have a buzz so i drive smart use my blinkers drive slow stop at signs and so on, well this cop follows me for about a mile and flips on the lights,asks me for id and when i hand it to him checks it not 21 so he looks in the back sees the beers and then all the fun begins gives me a alchol test i blew a frickin .28 and he hits me with a dui underage and shit luckily none of the younger guys had anything to drink at all so they all came up 000.. But crist what a hassle just got my frickin cdl so now im fed on that situation, im gonna be stuck drivin the quad around for a while but just my luck and i didnt even catch a frickin fish

Went back to stock carbs from 30s mods are, moose stator, dyna fs programable cdi, 20 over, fmf ssts, someportwork, v force 2s, boost bottle, no lid with k@n filter belive thats it, mains are 290 pilots 30, needles on 3rd poisiton from top. Tors are removed, it idles ok with choke on runs ok with choke on but as soon as u turn it off wont take any gas with choke off. Bike ran fine a few days ago with 30s on there so im guessin problem is just in my jetting on the stockers, little improvment when i turned the air screws all the way out, would to big of a pilot really cuase it to run that bad? how do the mains sound? any advice would be great

If it comes up to short i just used a small pipe cutter and cut off the metal to make em fit

Ok banshee runs a little better with the choke on wont take any gas in any gear just bogggggs, she revs up ok but after a few revs it bogs then revs and so on, 30 pilots 290 mains and needles on the 3rd poisitn, leaned the mixture screws out a bit seemed to help but this thing is runnin plain bad any help would be awsome

what type of intake manifolds do u got on it

Lookin to sell or trade 30mm mikuni carbs with intake manifolds and airbox adapting boots for stock carbs with tors removed and manifolds that work with v force 2 reeds. Or will take best offer on carbs

Ok banshee is killin me here, cuts out real bad when warm just dies and wont take gas then sometimes it will kick in for a sec then back to dead, feels so much like eletrical problem but i just replaced coil, brand new moose racing stator, brand new dyna fs cdi, and new plug caps and still no fix, checked the v force reeds no cracks cleaned carbs up, jettin is fine always ran good with the currents jetting.... I just cant get to the bottom of this problem and its costin me way to much any ideas????

Its been jetted the same way for 2 years and this problem just started so guessin it has nothin to do with that
