  1. what would you know about the desert, since you only have 16 posts.......... j/k
  2. i would seriously get the 450. the focus is for metrosexuals, and have you ever seen how much it costs to change the oil in a lambo? its a fuckin four digit number, for an oil change! those super cars are overrated anyways, plus V-10's sound like shit.
  3. oh ya, i guess those would be for loose pack. im used to sand where its pretty much all the same.......
  4. guns are cool.
  5. quicksand LSR dunedevilinc (support our members!) roll there are more. but thats all i can think of
  6. fuck ya drag is boring if it takes you 5 minutes.
  7. most people run pro wedge 2's or 4-snows. both give massive bite.
  8. could be time for a new cable. i see you are from SLC, so you prob ride sand huh? if so that may have something to do with it. but yes it sure be hard to push on the clutch arm by hand.
  9. yup. pull the right side motor cover to be sure. but be sure to drain the coolant first!
  10. i think stan (CEJ) sells them for 215. to be sure check out his website. www.dunedevilinc.com lots of great billet for a good price. and i believe BHQ members get like free shipping or something.
  11. i usually get mine pretty tight. the easiest way to do this is with an impact. but if you dont have one just get one of yur buds to step on your rear brake pedal while you tighten/loosen it. of course that only works if you have your chain on there.
  12. no literally 30 minutes. but now if i have the gas tank off i can use my impact.
  13. im a member of a forum where you have to do that in a special section devoted to newbs. its a good idea.
  14. rod it says ive gotta have a login. and where is ST anthony's?
  15. its lookin good for me! ill have to start saving money now for beer..........
  16. i think im gonna try to move into my dorm next tuesday. im moving from oklahoma city (dead center of the state), but stilly is NE of there so it will be about a 2.5-3hr drive. but only 90 minutes from lil sahara, too bad ill have to go back to my parents house and pick up my quad. so now LS is a 3 hour trip instead of a 2 hour trip.
  17. ok after many hours of cussing and thought i finally found the perfect tool to remove the two inner cylinder stud nuts. its a snap on tool, but not an expensive one. snap on offer a line extensions they call wobble plus. these are your basic wobble extension, giving 18* of motion to get into tight spots. a 4inch model of this with a shallow 12mm socket and accompanying ratchet are PERFECT to get those damn things off. no more using a boxend wrench and 30 minutes of your time. cool thing about that extension is that it can be used as a solid model too, depending how far you slide the socket onto the square drive. im sure someone has already done this. i just wanted to talk about it, lol.
  18. im with banshee~. the factory unit is an ohlins, and when valved for you it will perform quite well. im not sure about swapping in other units either. when swappin fronts its simple. but the rear has a linkage type setup that may affect the effective spring rate of the new coilover. unless you can try it before you buy it, id steer clear.
  19. sredish has a great list going. a few odds and ends id add are billet waterpump impeller i dunno if you guys race at night or not, but if you do some new head lights are must. the stock lights arent what id wanna be running through the dez with at midnight. and a camelbak, you gotta keep cool too!
  20. how close do they look at those pipes? cause cheetah cubs look real stock (painted black) and mike like 66 hp with factory pipes. food for thought............
  21. youve got the same size flow parts (carbs, transfers, ex port, etc.) with a motor needing a ton more air. like running stock heads on yur sb 383, make'm no sense chief.
  22. i do believe thats the scenario. that makes sense. im sure suicides work the best on one of andy's motors. and those are 700 monies too. but they are just chrome. you get what you pay for, unless its a production stamp shearer. those are plain sweet for that price.
  23. true, cant patent a volume. but what about the design that makes that volume critical; like 1bad said. i think with enough tweaking a pipe could be patented. but could turn into a huge legal fiasco.
  24. the bhq is the most fun at 1:30 am after a lot of beer. welcome
  25. mine moves a lil when the oil is still cold. but once its warm it stops.
