  1. well fixitrod, i think you may remember the convo we had a while back about me needing to rebuild my crank so ive decided too. the catch, if you can even call it that, is that i now work at a local dealership so i can get it done cheap. like a case of beer cheap. so can you hook me up with some part numbers for those bearings? i think i just want the two outside ones to be TZ, while keeping factory wiseco inners. also i will be looking at tucker rocky to see what they can get me a 4mm for.

  4. 2 stroker is right. the dealers make HUGE profits on any OEM parts. when i buy them through my work i dont even get it at cost but it is still half price.

  7. well......i know that ass in your avitar is smokin......as far as head goes, i know plenty...... it never dawned on me to call it "Accutek" ive called it throat, helmet, a bj, head, a header, knob, ive even called it "bobbin for ball bag" but "accutek" how did ya come up with that for a polesmokin?, tell me your not talking about a head for a banshee?, if so ive never heard of that brand SMART-ASS on a side note: i too have never heard of an accutek head.
  8. cool head do help when you keep stock compression. when you add compression thats when you get the added heat and it negates the extra cooling effect. about the impellar, if your is worn and you get a new one it WILL help. i say billet cause it will last for-ever.

  16. when i pondered it with my shee i had the same trouble. they is powderchrome which is justr some cheap PC color. or there is powderchrome. PM dunedemon about it, or do a search in the appearance section i believe. but DD will tell you every you need to know

  18. my neighbor heard that banshee was havin some down time so he was talkin to my dad about it. well my dad says "yeah, he burned up the left side from a lean condition, he (me) thinks it may have been a seal." so this guy proceeded to tell my dad how jetting and airleaks dont have anything to do with EGT and that the reason i did that was because i put to hot of a plug in last time i changed them. i just want to hit the guy, one for doubting my knowledge of my own bike and two for that stupid ass comment. he also went on to ask if i mixed my gas? he is a fourstroke owner, but GD doesnt he even have a 2stroke weedeater or sumthin? i mean shit. should i ask him why then i didnt burn both pistons? or should i just chuckle on the inside when i dust his stickered-to-the-max 400ex? people these days.
  19. got me some in chrome, only prob i had with them i had to tighten the crap out of the crossbar to keep it centered. and the bar pad likes to move around. that only matters because everything i touch must be perfectly symmetrical.

  22. try some new plug caps. the ones i got from my dealership, even before i worked there, were only like $5 for the pair. and someone makes a dedicated spark tester, not sure on who though. i always use my little brother. if it shocks the piss out of him, its good enough for my motor.
  23. youre not supposed to run a ket or plate with a dyna i believe. if you wanted to switch back to stock piss on the key and get the plate. yes they cost more but they are way earier to deal with especially if you like to vary your amounts of advance and the PD plates even come with retard.
  24. from cheapest to most expensive the ultimate uhh cooling list, yeah thats right! 1. correct jetting $depends on how many you have to try, but check this first 2. small inline coolers $10 3. engine ice $17 4. larger inline coolers $25ish 5. billet impellar $75 6. noss/pro design cool head $265 7. bigger radiator $400 and i think that rounds it out. all those are prices for new parts but im sure they can be found cheaper on e-Bay. if i missed anything someone tell me and ill edit the post and add it in.
