yeah, loco is right. the only time youll see 5mm is in a longrod motor. this is when the crankshaft has 5mm longer connecting rods on it. it doesnt give much of a powergain, but it does decrease wear on your pistons. in this case to allow for the extra length you run a special series piston. the wiseco 795 is what you need to run, if this is the crank you own, or just want to own.

in a solid bar, the inner 1/3 of the material doesnt actually increase its strength any. or that what a mech. engineer told me one time. dunno if its true though. but that hole does make it lighter, and provides a great place for grease flow.

to get one of mine off, one of the tech at work made strategic cuts on the nut it self. it relieves stress on the nut. but i wouldnt suggest this if you dont have a spare to replace it with
