that could be hurting the o-rings, not sure on that though. but ive found belrays white chain lube to be the best. you can hardly remove the shit, and after 6 or so dune rides my chain isnt even beginning to show signs of wear.
i know two guys who have done it. i turned out great, and the other not so well. when ever it got hot outside the stuff would get sticky and it felt like walking in gum.
there is a thread going on here as we speak about this topic, but on a banshee. im not sure if anyone has decided the true cause yet, but heres the hyperlink to it. THREAD
when i tried to buy Av they wouldnt sell it to me, so i just asked around at the dealer to see where those guys bought their gas. sure enough they pointed me to a local texaco that has 101. if that doesnt work look in your phone book for oil companys and raceways.
from what i have been told by the techs, you dont really have a torque spec for the beraings. this is because of that spacer thing (the name eludes me) that will keep the bearings from overtightening. so unless you REALLY crush on that sleeve it doesntmatter how tight you get it. the reason for the high torque numbers is too make sure the nuts stay tight. anyone i know who has a locking axle nut does not have to get theirs nearly as tight as i have to get mine for the same results, only because they are not relying on the minute stretch of the axle to hold the nuts in place.
kerosene, diesel, or cheap oil. at work we recommend flushing the case twice with cheap oil. simply fill it up, turn it over by hand and then drain. X2. really easy to do and its safer than using a fuel.
excellent analysis.
in a more technical sense: to low of octane will cause premature ignition of the fuel mixture. This causes harmful, and possibly fatal, motor malfunctions.
