  1. I agree. I run triple rates with rezzies and adjustable preload and love them. For the price you cant beat them. It is nice to not have to get out of the throttle when the trail gets rough.
  2. a heat gun will take some of the stress marks out, just dont hold it in one place too long.
  3. I think the white looks good. nice contrast to the red frame. lets see some pics after you get it painted.
  4. If you are going to race mx I would not put toomey pipes on it, they are weak on the low end power.
  5. i would check everything mentioned above. are your pipes turning blue?
  6. the cheapest way to get more low end is drop to a 13 tooth sprocket on the front. forget the boost bottle you would be better off spending $30 on a k&n air filter, go ahead and get the billet plate so you can lose the air box lid or get 2 clamp on filters and lose the air box completely. the first thing I would do is get rid of the stock exhaust and get aftermarket. there are many other things you can do, but these mods above will be a good start. congrats on the new bike. also go ahead and order 3 or 4 sets of jets so you can dial it in.
  7. MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) Technologist.
  8. Sure he thinks she is ugly, you said he was gay. Watch yourself!
  9. razr is the way to go.
  10. What a joke. It would be a nice bike to have for parts.
  11. The stickers look good. I put several on the underside of my fenders. I agree that if you dont have a manufactures part on your bike then DO NOT put their sticker on your bike, only posers do that.
  12. Replacing the dome is a piece of cake. Drain the coolant and pull the head. It is easier if you take the tank off first so you dont have to try to work around it. Pull the old domes out and put the new ones in. Make sure all your o-rings are in good shape. You can put a light film of lithium grease on the o-rings to hold them in place while you put it back together. Fill it full of coolant and put the tank back on and you are ready to go. If you have any questions let me know.
  13. At the end of last summer I wrecked my shee and twisted the frame pretty bad as well as the steering stem and axle. I also ripped the clutch perch off during the wreck. I bought a new black 03 limited edition frame from my local dealer for $460 plus tax. The silver frame is $200 more which make no sense at all. If this frame you are talking about is in such bad shape I would look into buying a new one and doing the switch over yourself. It is very simple to switch one over, just takes a little time. I would not want to ride on a frame that has been patched in several areas. If you have any questions on the switch over let me know. Tenn Banshee
  14. Get a set of pipes, k&n filter, vitos degree key(4 degrees for the woods) and a new set of reeds.
  15. I ran pure sport bandits for about 1 year, then I went to razr's and will never run the bandits again. I ride mostly woods and the razr's hook way better.
  16. I ride my banshee mostly in the woods and hairscrambles. I run a 13(stock is 14) in the front and a 41(stock) on the rear. I do not need top end in the woods so it was a good swap for me. I can definitely feel more pull on the low end.
  17. change the plugs, pull the carbs and clean them. Get rid of the old gas in the tank and you problem should go away. I was told that running old gas could cause damage to the pistons due to poor detonation(do not know how true this). hope it helps.
  18. I had the same problem with mine. After hours of frustration and no front brakes I started mine up and rode it for a few minutes then came back and bled the brakes and they worked fine. I guess all the vibration worked the air pockets loose and I have not had a problem since.
  19. I run the k&n with no lid. Remember to get the billet adapter or drill 2 holes on the plastic filter plate and screw it to the air box, then seal it with some silicone. If you ride in dusty conditions get an outerwears and keep your filter clean.
