Usually it's the wife riding shotgun with her fat leg up on the dash and a pillow in her lap. The guy driving has got one of 2 things on his mind, 1. "this is the fastest vehicle I own, way faster than my saturn" or 2. "I hope that guy in that F-150 doesn't see how fat my wife is". Usually a row of baby seats in the second row with babies thinking "geeze dad I'd like to live long enough to breed, slow the fuck down".

I think that 20gig for an extra bill would be worth it. These things are so much cheaper than when I was building gamer computers in college, $300-$400 for the vid card alone. Then all the tweaking to make them work the way you want them.

Are both systems backwards compatible? I've watched the 360 played at the stores and it looks pretty sweet.

Those damn minivans are the one of the fastest driving classes IMO. I'll be cruising along about 5 over and all of a sudden woooosh a minivan passes me doing atleast 15 over.

I'm getting one of the two once they are both out I'll make my decision.

I hear you there 4 years was 4 too many for me. I crammed 20 and 22 credits into the last semester so I'd be done in 4. Oddly enough those last 2 semesters were my best as far as grades, and I spent most of my non class time playing paintball.

I'm not a huge wrestling fan but I used to watch the occasional smackdown. Eddie was definately one of the more interesting guys to watch and always put on a good show. Nothing like a frogsplash from the top of the cage instead of crawling out and winning. It's hard to believe he was only 5'8" and 220lbs, built like a horse though. Smackdown won't be the same.

I still think the republicans are a baby step in the right direction from the dems. I know what you mean though on Walmart, my hometown is 2500 people no walmart but you can't get anything you want without finding one. It's sad but we are the ones that put Walmart in power everybody trying to save a buck, I just bought my groceries there yesterday, cause I was there. Good wood furniture is hard to find too, people don't want to spend the money to get something nice. Right now all my tables are glass and metal but when I do start buying wood it's hard to find and expensive but worth every penny, nothing is made to last anymore it's a use it and throw it away society.

I know foreign cars are Japanese but I'm pointing them out as people buying cheap and China is slated to start production on cars and then there goes the car market cause people unlike you and me will go out and buy them. I try to not buy anything foreign unless there's no replacement. I was a little PO'd when I ordered my girlriends i-pod and the thing shipped from China to Hong Kong to Alaska to Indiana to Iowa wtf I figured they'd atleast have a wharehouse here but nope that costs too much. I'd have spent double to get a made in the USA one but that's me. Don't get me wrong I'm not that happy with the direction the gov is going right now either, I wish we'd lock our countries doors to illegals and I'm still waiting for SS reform and permanent tax cuts. It's pretty bothersome when we only worry about some CIA leak and when we got dems still trying to claim they didn't really vote for the war. It's about time everybody lined up and started working for some sort of advancement instead of trying to solve why things happened in the past in order to place blame. One side doesn't want the pres to succeed at anything and that is not helping our country.Also here's the 10 year average hourly earnings chart from the department of labor. It's unfortunate but numbers like that will surely mean more Chinese goods under the tree this year. Costs go up and consumers go elsewhere. Meat, the way I see it there's only two parties that get elected in this country you don't like the presidents party but name one thing that the other party has accomplished in the last 5 years?

It's funny that in my oil industry job we can't build in China, when we build in China it can only be sold to China. I dare you to compare the profits of big oil to the profits of the entertainment industry. What kind of profits do the satellite tv, cable, music and movie companies make??? Global hardships is a crock, money is flowing like never before many industries are experiencing record profits and that's what happens when a $500,000 machine can produce 50 times what a $30,000/year worker can. Not sure where you live but if you've ever been around the gulf coast the oil and shipping industry is the lifeblood of the region. What do you expect the oil companies to do when the price of a barrel of crude doubles on the futures market? They crank as many barrels out as possible they are going to make money that's the way it is. Also check the gov profit compared to the oil industries profits all that tax money isn't gonna make the gov't change the oil industry. There wasn't really a major drop in consumption, supply and demand wasn't fueling the prices like it should be. What I don't understand is why people don't invest in the oil industry more instead they just bitch and moan but they could be reaping the rewards just like everybody else. On the China goods thing I love hearing people complain then get in there foreign car, talk on their foreign phone, listen to their foreign i-pod, wear their foreign clothes... They wouldn't get the money if people didn't keep buying their stuff. Our society demands Chinese goods that's the way it is. I remember when everything in Wal-Mart was made in the USA but the government didn't make them change we did.

Wait wait wait, for one most of the senior citizens you describe vote dem. The problem that hasn't been determined is where that rating comes from among democrats Bush is has a 7-12% approval rating in order to get 39% as a median approval you've got to see some huge numbers on the non dem side but I don't know of a single strong conservative who would approve of him right now either since he hasn't done anything with the borders, tax cuts, or quite frankly acted like himself. He made an attempt to act like himself yesterday and I thought his speech was a step in the right direction. On the economy I still don't know why everybody is saying it sucks, unemployment is super low 5.4% or something like that equivilant to the almighty moral champion Clinton. I don't know anybody who hasn't bought a new to them car in the last couple of years. Interest rates have been great. More people own homes today than ever. My company has significantly increased it's workforce. Every hard working person has or can have money to spend right now. Maybe people are too young to remember when these things weren't that good, 25 years ago unemployment was over 12% interest on a home was 15%+. Look at the amount of money people on this site can throw at things we've got 15 year olds with new yfz's, too many people running cubs simply for the HP, we've got people throwing streetbike motors in quad frames. People rolling $40,000 trucks to pull there $30,000 trailer. Metal shops are backlogged for weeks, landscapers and excavators have to turn away jobs. $3.00 gas and a major hurricane at a time of war has not hardly caused a ripple in the economy. Money is flowing like mad, that's the sign of a good economy. There were times when people had to tell there kinds sorry I can't buy you a $300 video game system cause we need to eat, pay the mortgage, car payment.... Now kids get the system and another $300 in games. If someones outlook on the economy is poor it's probably a lack of effort combined with their own wasteful spending. My .02
