how you lowering the front???? a durablue kit won't get you near low enough.... and a simple lowering strut for the back will not be low enough either....

you don't need a sway bar for "trying" just lower it with tiedowns.... as for tires sorry... i have only what i need... if i run across soem more i'll sell some though....

if your just oval racing or TT with no jumps or harsh bumps... you can swap out teh stock shock for a shorter shock and weld a new shock mount onto the swinger... thats how i built mine... it uses a YSR50 rear shock.. i still have 5/8" travel in teh back also.... i got this tip from the 98-99 ama flattrack championship winner... (he owns the yamaha dealer close to my house) and he ran a 87 banshee so after he retired from racing i hit him up for tips....

hey rob i know this thread is old but you gotta mount the swaybar on the shee backwards... so the arms point forward... that howi had to mount mine.. i built a lowering bridge adn i still use sotck arms but since the shocks sit almost straight up and down now thw sway bar wouldn't fit..... so use the arms pointed forward then use a lonf bolt through the shock and you'll have to put a spacer in front of the shock mount so the link can grab the bolt and still be adjustable...

wel i was really just wanting to check it out thats all... i have a 97 banshee i'm building for flattrackin...... except my track canceled quads.... well they run a rinky dink TT now... so i'm building a quad and looking for a track at teh same time..... just wanted to see what other banshee guys were running...

i'm also from northern indiana.. we had an oval track to run on but..... one guy crashed and they switched it to a crappy little TT track built inside a 3/8 oval... i see nowhere enough room to run a TT in teh infield of that track... sooooo.. i am too looking to run some flattrack races... if i have to dire an hour or nour and a half i really don;t care... i;ve got a crew of about 3 or4 guys that wanna race it also... so we split the expenses

i'm from NW indiana and am also looking for a track in the chicago land area.... i'm not interesteed in TT though.... my rear suspesion will nto handle even teh smallTT jumps... i only have about 5/8" travel

ok i found a set.. they are in great shape... there is only one thing wrong with them... the grills that cover teh lens... one has a little piece taken out of it... i might have another one in the shop.... lemme know... i can email you a few pics of them if you'd like... i have the pics but..... i guess i don't have enough space on here to post the pics

i've got a set of those black plastic guards for between the fender and the stock nerf... off a 03... brand new takeoffs.. hell i think i even taped the nuts and bolts to em... lemme know if you are still interested

if you have unlimited 2way like i do then just ziptie the button and put it next to another nextel for a while.... that whistle adn scream soemthign horrible... toss it under a pillow and go to bed... they will learn....
