i was wondering if its possable to remove the on/off switch on the left handlebars? id like to get rid of it. whats the best way to splice the wires? i know some of you have done it.

yeah i think it might have been 550 or so that some one on here posted. they said you can get a black frame for about 150 cheaper than the silver. i thnk the new silver one he was talkin about was like 650. i forget though. whats an LE frame? how many different frames are there? are some made stonger than others?

you know what? in 2 years yamaha is gonna just come out with another 4-stroke with more balls to beat the 450. plain and fuckin simple. the banhee will soon be old news. in 5 years they will be smoked like a fine qubin cegar by the "NEW" ATV. things will always be progressing. soon it will be illegal to ride two strokes(not for a little while though). i would have probably got a used 450 but there too damn expensive unless there trashed. rambling on....

what are the ways of savin fuel. no wise asses please. i know that jetting bigger and boreing bigger the the main things that will suck it down. does high compression burn more gas? does advancing the timing burn more gas? and does shaving the head have anything to do with it? the more i can get out of the tank with out having it run to slow is a good thing.

what exactly is a rolling chassis? whats the difference between that and the regular frame?

if shops are too buisy there too buisy, plan and simple. most times they wont just hire someone for a couple months out of the year that go nuts and need service or product. but it can be frustrating to get the service you need. do it your self? learn how to do it. they will probably charge a lot more during these times anyways. at my work we are always taring down set ups and jigs and stuff for ionics http://www.elitecp.com/ . when you get a "hot" job, you gotta do it, they pay the extra money for it though. good luck with fixing that there beast.

i think it depends if you like to ride in water or not. if you dont then i thnk you should be able to shorten the quite a bit

just to clarify something. are you talkin about takin it off the sides of the flywheele or the diameter of the whole roundness of it? if you talkin about shaving the O of the wheele diameter size, that wouldnt make sence would it? dont you want to shave the sides of it? i never took it apart yet so dont know what exactly im lookin at. can imagine there over 4" think, but maybe im wrong. thanks for the info

also i immagine that this thing spins a million mph on the bike. that if its off a little. i dont know what the machine is called but some like, you but you spin it on the leath and find the dead center of it and put it on a fine point like an aul(sp?) and see if it ballanced, if its not dill a small hole in it till you get it right? i dont know what its called but.... do you do this to make sure it doesnt have a heavy side?

yeah that be kool. what should the final dimention be after machining it down? also what is an arbor? and what do you mean by puting a taper on it? you mean just a bevel? i can pretty much do anything on it with in .004. is that acurate enough? the stupid leath is a hair off so... but maching this down shouldnt be a problem i should be able to get it with in .002. and that do you mean by getting a chatter free peice is half the battle? whats the other half? getting it on/off?
