I ran 280 with lid and stock motor, so I would say you'll need bigger like in the 320 range with k&n and no lid, port work. But elevation, temp, and all the mods you do added up will be the info that will get you the most help. Your builder doing the port work will be your best person to ask.

don't know about the POR-X but if the stockers lasted you that long the Wiseco will last the same time span if not a little more. I only do a top end like every 3~4 years granted I ride only in the spring through fall months but I ride every weekend when I can, and I use Wiseco. Hope that helps you

I would be raising hell if they said they could get it done and ruined them. They have to be baked with a UV light not heated oven. The plastic in the ball joints melts. I'd make them buy you new ones, after all they killed them not doing it right. But hope you have something in writing, or your most likely screwed.
