  1. I just got the fmf gnarlys and turbine core 2 put on and they are good to wake up the bottom end. They sound cool also. I like them at least.
  2. Ok for my understanding the reeds are where the carbs meet the engine. So there is a orangeish gold piece about 3\16" thick beteen carb boot and engine. Question - is this the reed cage or a reed spacer. Trying to identify mods on my new shee.(Got my shee CHEEP from dealer same day it was traded in and he was a dumb a$$ too). Clymer is on back order thanx for all the help. People at this forum rock
  3. and did you read the post, it is new only used it for about 10 miles witch isn't much key word in what you just said "used"
  4. I agree!!!! If you can read, you can build one yourself for a 1\2 the price. Workin on a shee is harder then building a computer.
  5. not me, just came across and thought was funny

  10. is this a decent filter or should i trash it . All I ever ride in all my vehicles is k&n. Never heard of twinair, it's a sponge filter. And took off lid runs better thanx
  11. just checked and saw my new shee has twinair filter on it. So question- airbox lid suppose to be on or off with this. I know k&n says lid off. Anyone use the k&n power filter lid?
  12. thanx for the info. They fit and now dont make my ears bleed to run the shee. It's only temp this way till I can save for some gnarley's. Thanx again
  13. Dealer told me that fmf silencers will fit on stock pipes. Is that true to say? If i was to put them on would it require jetting. My problem is this, bought a banshee that had guts takin out of silencers. To loud to ride staight pipin and dont want to buy stock silencers. But cant afford complete pipes $600 for all. So want to get silencers now so I can ride then gnarlry's later. quad is all stock from what it look like thanx
  14. lookin for used set first before I go new. good shape and not dented!
  15. Found the site that sells motofast pipes http://www.rittercycle.com/yamaha.htm and emailed them and was told they are discontinued. anyone got a pic of the dynoport 2 n1 mounted, would like to see them. Or a used set laying around and thanks for the input
  16. so 2:1 sounds better, so next question-Motofast 2 into 1 or dyna port better?
  17. Searched the forum and found good info. But I want some info on pipes for woods riding. This is my first quad and it is all stock. The prev. owner took the guts out of the silencer. Need spark arester and some what quiet pipes so rangers dont ticket me. I want as much low out of it as I can, pipe wise. Lookin at the fmf gnarly and the dynoport single 2 into 1. Anyone have either or a different option. Thanx for some input
