I run 32:1 yamalube other will say different, it all depends on oil used and person opinion so you'll get a few different anwsers here as well. As far as the tranny oil I get Belray 30. Modding the shee to your liking is the fun part

in WA I pay $35 a year for registration. Get a year, month, and a reg # number sticker to put on. They have rangers in all the riding areas that check for your stickers. Even in the woods, what a job- the rangers up at Priest Lake drive around all summer on atvs checking stickers and snowmobiles in winter doing the same. Got a long ass waiting list to get a job up there.

yea I wasn't talking about your atv's that's why I said "bike" That's one of the points I was trying to make is that with EFI you don't have to constantly tune- set it and go. I could see that you race and might want different power curves at different rpm's but a carb has less tunability. Plus I'm a computer nerd and my laptop goes every where with me anyways

I too run without the lid. All I ride is dirt, mud, creek crossing. IMO get a Twinair or other foam filter with a foam outer ware. Never had a problem. On the boost bottle you'll get a 100 that say it dose nothing and 3 that says it's the best. Never tried one for that reason.

Those are a fun quad my father in law got one. put a fmf Gnarley pipe on it and makes for a fun trail bike that can wheelie. and you can get one on ebay under $100 PIPE EBAY

That reminds me of Back to the Future when they go to like 2001 or something and they all have flyibg cars. Back then it was cool to watch but now it's even more funny that we pasted that date. anyway... I think the mapping will be like on the street bikes where the program has some set curves so you can switch for riding style and terrian I bet the yfz450 will come with efi if this bike takes off. I hope so I like to see jetting be a thing of the past

but a lot of ppl use a dyno to tune thier carbs for winter, summer, trips to diff areas, ect. how nice would it be to set it up like you want it then leave it. For the most part most wont ever touch the mapping

It looks good to me, as long as you take those HUGE heel guards off. I like that there are now efi bikes coming out. I hate jetting I can't wait to ride one now I got 2 choices when I get a secound bike
