    I break - in the engine alot different then you discribed. But I do ride the shee full throttle at some point in the break-in.

    260 is sweet, hell the front shocks cost more then that. "-1 1/2 degrees" maybe its loose and the vibration moved it in the negative direction :shrug:

    20:1 is way to rich, 50:1 might be to lean for your shee "popping".Either way you need to get your oil to gas ratio on point. When cleaning the carbs you have to take the jets out.If theirs even a spec of dirt in those jets it will effect performance.

    Seems like you bought a shee thats ready to be parted out and sold. That link is a long read. Rebuild the top end, advance the timing and buy used parts from the for sale forum here on the HQ.
