  1. That looks kinda familier. Kinda like... this one, but with better stuff.. Don't mind my dirty carpeting either clicky clicky for bigger pic-y edit: oh and don't pay attention to the stupid compensator thing on front. it was a gift, and i doubt it does any good. lots of people say "is that a SILENCER?"... um...... no, not quite..
  2. I'd change it, personally. Yeah, it lasts longer than the 3000 mark but its more broken down later in its life, and extra heat from towing -- which may or may not occur, depending on how good your jeep keeps cool -- doesn't help it. It can't hurt, thats for sure. You got a transmission cooler? If you're towing with an automatic, one of those is almost mandatory in my opinion..
  3. Centrino is based on the Pentium M. They're not as fast as a full blown Pentium 4 or Pentium 4m, but they are generally more than enough processing power for the average person. You may be experiencing a nice slow laptop hard drive. I upgraded this one to a 7200RPM from the 4200RPM that came, stock, and it was a night and day difference, doing the stuff I do
  4. Yep. I have a Perception Avatar 15.5 and do some open water paddling in it. Small enough to have fun in, but big and sleek enough to go fast
  5. 6'2 195, thats supposed to be big? I would have flattened anyone of those guys for even shoving me WTF, at least if the big bro did it to ya it would be less embarassing. You should go pay that kid back! It is, in junior high or high school..
  6. LMFAO! loco, I didn't notice your new avatar till now....
  7. Dang. stuff i can think of... Michigan CCW (carry concealed weapon) PADI open-water diver Chauffers license (now you see why it was in the first post ) RHCE (Redhat Certified Engineer) cycle endorsement nothing extreme..
  8. "Class D" license? Whats that? Here in MI we just have Operator (meaning, you can drive), Chauffer (meaning, you can drive up to like 15 others), and CDLs. You can get cycle endorsements, etc, added to 'em. Our cycle endorsement is a "one size fits all". Did mine on a 125cc zuki enduro, and ride a 900rr around now. Some states apparently make you qualify for certain sizes of engines...?
  9. Okay, so what is everybody certified in, or endorsed for? Its your chance to brag. Work endorsements or certifications, personal stuff, crazy stuff, or even your chauffer's license Just wondering what kinda folks we got out there...
  10. Con Air: "Define irony, bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash."
  11. "oh um I usually bend over and take a big whiff from the cans to find out whats in it. of course, i can't tell the difference between premix and regular but who cares? i couldn't whiff the fumes with my cold and failed to notice the dark RED DYE in the diesel, because like, isn't all fuel that color?"
  12. I got a 5-cell one. Its been dropped down stairs, off the roof onto the driveway, etc, and is still on its original bulb miraculously. Fantastic flashlights. Only thing that sucks is that the lens eventually gets scratched up -- anyone know if they sell replacements? errrr nevermind.. I just went to their website and you can get all the parts for 'em online. Like $1.60 for a lens..haha plus like $4 shipping prolly
  13. Hahahaha.. I'm just thinking about that movie, "National Security".. "...and here's your pouch of quarters so you can call the real police when something happens.."
  14. Yep, what the guy above said. If you're just going to go with bolt-on mods, the T6 pipes will be better for you. If you're going to do some extensive internal engine mods, the T5 set will support it better.
  15. Tell him he's full of crap. I seriously doubt you can bore and stroke that thing out to a 350. On a stock bore with mods those things are fast as hell though.. sounds like an idiot.
  16. Carb & choke cleaner will do that for ya at 1/500th the hassle Guess the red diesel dye didn't show up that day, eh?
  17. You can pick up a kit for pretty cheap at most auto stores. They have a ready-to-install kit with all you need, except for the elbow grease. Lots of people muck up spark plug threads so they generally carry a start-to-finish kit with the few items you'll need to git-r-done
  18. Sorry... just realized I forgot to include that! haha... hell yeah, they work great for spark plugs. That's basically the only place I've ever ended up using 'em, honestly. They work very well though!
  19. Heck yeah, those things work wonders. They're actually stronger than stock in most cases. Somewhere I read (probably from the manufactorer) that they use a bazillion of 'em, stock, on aircrafts. Just follow the instructions and go slow. Also helps a ton if you remove the head.. They do hold up though.. really well.
  20. Kinda depends on what type of riding you're doing though. Works for a lot of us is just fine But for those who actually race, Elkas or Axis are worth it. Not for me though!
  21. Do you just splice 'em in there? Thought the coil and wires were just a sealed deal? One of my caps is less than adequate, and looking into this myself too. If the caps and wires are replaceable... dang.. somebody tell me how!
  22. Earlier in the year mine got both gear clusters replaced (missing teeth off of the 2nd gear pair). Lots of crud in the case. Just tipped it on its side and flushed it out with brake cleaner, actually. Did a good job. But, kerosene sounds like a good idea too.
  23. Yeah man.. I was waiting for something large and nice to come out before putting a big bore on my '89 R but.. upon reading more and more, it takes some pretty hefty low end mods to be able to deal with an engine like that.
  24. I would not sell my quad unless I really had to -- but sometimes financial crap comes up, and what can you do? You can't exactly prolong medical emergencies (including.. having kids..haha) but you can always get another quad. You respect it, it respects you. You disrespect it, and boy oh boy, you had better hope it disrespects you in the nicest possible manner..
