got a pair of works tripple rates they were going to be used on a banshee but it was sold yesterday. looking to trade them for some 8" bead locks w/ good tires. whatch got????

if the flywheel checks out to be within spec. then try a new nut.

i have fmf fattys on my banshee and they have a good midrange hit to them. my buddy had a banshee with pro circuit pipes and they worked good and they were smooth but i dont think they hit as hard in the midrange. hope i have helped and not confusued you

the freezing trick works you just need to plug both ends of the pipes. go to the hardware store and get some expandable plugs to fit the pipes. keep an eye on the pipes dont freeze them to long .

every one around here calls me banshee boy and my mx banshee is a 1998

selling this for my brother in law. 1995 or 1996 banshee. newer factory replacement frame. motor runs good starts good, fmf pipes. plastic not real nice but it is all there just some cracks. need tires, axel bearings. selling for $1650.00

i have been using series 2000 for about 2 years with no problem. it has been changed to dominator, i have been using it in both banshees and my daughters lt80 mixed at 32:1.

96 banshee. chassis all blasted+ painted. all new bearings. motor has new bore (20 over) mild port job, milled head,new clutch, boysen reeds, jetted, dyno port 2-1 pipe, k&n filter in the box. plastic is all nice. this quad was going to by my x-country racer but i need to sell it for the down payment on my new truck. i have a clean title for the banshee. asking 3200.00. i can ship it no problem, or you can pick it up in central IL. holy SH*T that is some small domes. i would go to a b9es plug and dont have the timing advanced. like BansheeBrian said watch for detonation, that motor will have a killer midrage power band. keep an eye on the plugs, you might need to gap the plugs at .22 to keep the fire lit. high comp. like that will kill a spark plug.

are you saying the shifter stays up? if so, i would pull the clutch cover off and check the shifter return spring, and check the shift star. if every thing looks ok ...then pull the motor out and tear it down, to check for internal damage. is the clutch working ok?

if it helps you at all i'am at 650 ft elev. and i run 20 cc dome in my head and have right at 170lbs comp. my brother in law has 17 cc domes and has 210lbs comp.

that fire truck must not have been equiped with this new foam stuff they have. it would of put it out. it will work on a grease fire. hope they all had insurance!!!!
