  1. 10x8=10 inch dia. 8 inch wide 3+5 is the offset 3 in the front and 5 in the back hop this helps
  2. i'am fighting a lean problem also but i'am so bad it is poping out the silencers. i have 280 mains and 30 piolet...i'am going to try 310 mains and see what happens???
  3. remove the little holder by compressing the spring the the cable will come off and you can get to the screws its a real bit**ch but you can do it!!!
  4. last time i checked the bolt pattern on the rear is 4x115
  5. ok it is lean on the main. now i have to track down some larger jets. i went to local bike shop and they didnt have any thing bigger than 280 i'am going to find some 310 jets somewere on friday.!!!!!!!
  6. ok i just cleaned the carbs....both piolets were pluged up. jetting is now piolet 30 main 280. air screw is 1 1/2 turns out. starts and runs TONS better, but it still poping out the silencers. i just had the frame painted and i cleaned the grounds but i wonder if the are not clean enough??? its kinda like it looses spark for a second and then it fires giving it a pop. i havent rode it yet to see what will happen? could it a bad coil? i have 2 other banshees that i can try the coil from? any other ideas? also the carb bowls were on correctly, the bowl with the little jet is on the left.
  7. but why wont it start with out spraing carb cleaner in the carbs?
  8. the part of not starting unless you spray carb cleaner into is what is making me lean toward pluged piolets. it has 110 fuel.mixed at 32:1. the gas is ok(same gas that is used in both of our other banshees with no problem) the plug caps are new and tight, tryed new plugs also. it acts like it is runing out of fuel, and that pops out of the silencers. i'am going to go through the carbs tonight. i hope to find pluged piolets.
  9. comp. is 170 t-5 pipes stock carbs, jetting is piolet is 26 main is 260, k&n filter in the box. i'am leaning toward pluged piolet jets? what do you think. i might be a little lean on the main but not bad enought to be poping like this??
  10. any ideas what will cause a banshee to pop out of the exhaust at about any rpm? carbs are jetted corretly. it also wont start unless you spray some carb cleaner into the carbs then it will fire right up. wont idle at all? could it be a float problem and it is not getting enough fuel? it seams that if you are reving the engine and it starts poping if you spray carb cleaner in to it, the poping isnt as bad...if that makes any cents? will bad reeds do this? it seams to be worse on the right cyl so i switched to plug wires and that did not change anything???
  11. 1995 banshee for sale. it has 68mm big bore,5mm long rod crank, cool head with 19cc big bore domes. tranny has all new bearings, new clutch. toommy t-5 pipes. chassis was blasted and painted. new brakes, all new bearings. brand new plastic. i have all receipts. will take a 12x6 enclosed trailer in on trade. asking 3600.00 e-mail me at quad_9@hotmail.com
  12. a set of pipes and jetting it with k&n filters is not going to double your hp!! that motor should be making around 35-37 hp.
  13. why dont you guys check out taylorville IL they have a 1.25 mile mx track good trail riding. south fork dirt riders.com or got to astoria, IL they have a nice mx track and trails that go for ever! the even run a couple of hairscrambles every year.

  15. i have a 3 deg key in mine from alba action . no problems. i noticed that it ran a little smoother, but not realy any more power.
  16. the caps should have 5k ohms of resistence
