  1. Id like to see you back up that statement! Shit, I hardly use my clutch when I drag race. Slam and jam baby. shake and bake LOL
  2. Yep, its the same bike.. And it does RIP for sure!!!! Traction and setup is key, I mean look at that race. I could'nt compete at the badlands with dirt tires, but at the dunes I would bet against any of those bikes.. That motor rips hard, but when I got traction it was a whole different ball game. We'd go back and forth all day if he got good launches, that is if he wasn't parting it out...... By the way, whoever is contemplating buying that top end. Stop thinking and just buy it, it runs damn good!
  3. I noticed a HUGE difference from T5's to CPIs on my dune ported 350. Couldn't believe it. Harldy noticed any diff between FMF and T5's
  4. I always resort to a litte splash of ether to get her goin!! Stubborn cold alky motors! lol
  5. Any year box will work mike, just wire it up.. No big deal!
  6. Thought it would be best to keep it organized, and start everything at low costs on Ebay. Bid away! Will end auctions early for good offers, to HQ members only! More to be added over the next couple days! whats on there: stainless grilles front braided stainless lines rear stock brake line complete front brakes front brake line front brake rotor TAG 1.125 bars with mount Swinger pivot tube front hubs Stock basket, inner/outer hub More to come... Thanks guys, JD Banshee Parts!!
  7. Very well stated, and very true! Nor did I beat Bob at RB! Its just nice to give a mostly unknown builder some props...
  8. hahahahahaha, your motor rips Mike, but I told you I would make a post lol... OK, 2 weeks ago. Cant we combine weekends to simplify things? I forgot about that new clutch cable you didn't try out yet :ninja:
  9. This was on my 87' trail bike Tim! (the yellow one) lol..... I agree, it is ALL in the setup, bottom line. Our setups were very similar. No Overrides, garbage stock rear shock, and gearing was the same with the A&S bike.. I don't have a clue about the Cub's setup.. Something had to be wrong. I just started this topic because One: It was fun to beat them with my setup, Two: people need to know that you don't have to wait 6 months to get a good runner. Three: I think its interesting to see.... I never touch my bike either, hell I don't even check the plugs. I run it rich and hammer down. Always have..
  10. Got em, thanks Tyler! They are super nice, worth every penny for sure!
  11. Ok, this is going to stir the pot, but I don't care. I think its good discussion.. I have an RB racing dune ported, stock stroke 350. 35mm PWKs, 185psi, +4 timing, CPI inframes. This is my trail/dune bike. its nothing major, but runs good. This past weekend, I raced a stock stroke A&S motor, drag ported on alky, and beat it every time by 3-4 bikes in the dunes. Same swinger length, and similar paddles. Similar rider capability. Also raced a 421 cub from RDZ, and beat it every time by a couple lengths. I thought this was ridiculous, no way that should happen. The bike seemed to run decent too. Now, I consider myself a novice rider, not a pro by any means. I just thought it was necessary to give props to R&B about making good power, and big names aren't always the solution. Not that the other guys don't build badass motors, because I know they do. But, they got beat! Not trying to toot my own horn here guys, but I have been layin it down to most similarly modded banshees that i race lately. I just thought it was a good enough sample to give R&B props, and to let you guys know whats up. Now, begin the bashing lol
  12. Axle is sweet, I just go one for my drag bike and I love it. keyways are the ONLY WAY to go... very nice piece
  13. Personally, it gave a me a good seat of the pants increase, especially on the lower end. Youll be fine at +4 timing with a stock head and pump gas. make sure your compression is at/or below 160psi if running 193 octane. Do it for sure!
  14. why?
  15. Bump for some VERY nice shit... I cant believe you have to part this thing man! Ohh well, you'll be back!
  16. wtf the post is gone! damn!
  17. Mine ended up about 1/4" toward the flywheel side. Its all about touch, just get it close and adjust the rest with your perch. Worked fine for me.
  18. Damn, sitting here at work is killing me... Bikes are ready, truck is ready, lets load up and GTFO!! Cant wait to set up shop and hit the dunes in the morning, honestly all I'm thinking about right now lol Can we find a way to bring the pit bike? Drunken campsite wheelies sounds too fun!
  19. Dibs, consider sold. PM sent
  20. Bump for Havoc's stellar workmanship. Those trannys DO shift like butter!
  21. PM me if it doesn't sell as well.
