  1. Track is dirt sand mix, run paddles. There is prolly a little over 300 ft shut down. Plenty of room to get stopped. Last race there was guys runnin in the high 3's that had no trouble getting stopped, with rear brakes only.
  2. BBX, sounds like a runner for sure. I would like to see that thing go! You would prolly be racin the YFZ's and 450R's. There is also an open class you could race in as well as the dash for cash class. So all in all you could run three classes if you choose.
  3. There is classes. What are you riding?
  4. I figured people would get defensive if I said anything about my experience with the nology (and I was right). Thats why I never said anything about it. I figured I would just let sleeping dogs lie. I simply told people about a good, hassle free place to buy the product from. I had however told Loco previously my experience with this particular product. When he made the post about me telling him it was worthless, I wasn't gonna lie to everyone and tell them this thing is the shit! I stated my opinion. I noticed no difference from the stocker............"to each his own"
  5. Yep, got the wires with the coil. Hooked ground wires up directly to the head like the instructions stated. Dont know what would have went wrong.. I guess my stock coil must have just been a bad mofo. no one miss lead me...I make my own choices Hope the coil works out for others better than it did me. Good Day
  6. Send a PM to fastoys
  7. Where you goin with this???
  8. It is worthless...I could tell no performance gain whatsoever. But I figure for the guys that are gonna buy it anyway, that is a good place to get it from.
  9. I'd prolly start with checking the fuel line over...make sure it is not kinked anywhere. Then I'd prolly check the carb over, by taking it apart and cleaning it. You might want to get ahold of FASTOYS on here. He has experience with thumpers.
  10. Got mine from F.A.S.T. Cheap,Quick, and Easy..
  11. True dat!!
  12. Drags in Effingham KS on 11/19/05 last one of the year!
  13. yeah, I know what your talking about...tractor pull guys use them to cut their tires, but I don't know what its called either. I usually just used horse hoof trimmers. Pinches the knobs right off, but before I statred usein the hoof trimmers i just used a pair of visegrips (to pull on the lug with) and a razor blade (box knife).
  14. this weekend? 10/29/05?
  15. And Bingo was his nameo! Thanks for clearing that up for the unbeliever(s) Jim
  16. Back when I first had my old motor finished up I took it to a dyno, it pulled 59.6 hp...Thinking back that was prolly damn close to a realistic number for that motor at that time. Then I had the same motor reworked, and it put out around 80hp (based off what I previously had, and dyno sheets from a motor that was built identical to mine). I think between my old 80hp motor and my new cubs...I wouldn't be afraid to say" its for damn sure puttin out over 90..and maybe even between 95-100hp" Bottom line being..I'll line up against ANY stock framed, cylindered 80hp banshee, and feel confident that I'm gonna win. Like I said before..."cubs are no joke"
  17. This is expected form someone who hasn't tried a set! Jealousy is an ugly thing.
  18. is the track gonna be watered? Dont really wanna drive 3.5 - 4 hrs to blow my tires off for 300ft.
  19. You will prolly be in the mid 70's by just boltin them on. To get the power out of cubs you need to go with at least 34mm carbs and a good set of pipes! As far as stock stroke goes...I've seen dyno sheets on Planet sand with drag ported cubs puttin out over 100hp. You can acually get the about the same power out of a stock cylinder set up, but it will cost about as much in porting that you can buy the cubs for. After maxing the stock cylinders out, they wont be as reliable as the cubs. Don't be fooled by the skeptics...cubs are no joke!!
  20. Looks like you got hella deal bro. Good job!
  21. I'd be down with some sand!!!
  22. My bro and I have the same set up (421 cubs). I run CPI and he runs Shearers. My bike seems to launch a littler harder than his does, but once they get rolling it seems like the shearers pull quite a bit harder than the CPI. Shearers are definatly a good pipe... plus your filters don't get burnt with them. Great price Jim....
  23. whats bxb?
  24. On my passion motor I ran 50 pilots, 145 mains, and CEK needles. This was on a 4mm 12 port drag. This was after many hrs of trail and error. Seemed to work out well for me.
  25. When I ran 28mm PWK's, I ran 145 mains, 50 pilots, and DEK needles.
