  4. well,just what kind of pipes are they? Is this a all stock machine? when it is running how does it run? Does it idle fast,slow,is it sputtering? you need to give alittle more info on how it running when it does run. you may j ust need to turn the idle up a bit, clean the carbs and air filter, repack the silencers If there are aftermarket parts on the bike what are they? do you know what size jets are in there? good luck...

  10. I raced today. Took home a 4th place finish in +30 class. You know its a great feeling when your the only one out there on a banshee ,lot of guys talking shit and them ya beat em.. come up behind a group of 4-strokes stuck in the mud at the bottom of a hill, Ohh whats that ,the Ole' bald fuck on his banshee going right around them hahahahhahahahahahh whos laughing now!!!

  15. just use some common sense. If you dont have the experiance your buddies have you will just have to wait till you learn how to tame that beast and not kill yourself trying.   16. If he was using a cylinder to force the mixture in to the motor then i would have to suspect that he was not able to figure out how to make the Reed Valve work.

  18. Are you saying that this only happens when its cold? If thats the case then, its possible that your clutch basket is wearing. I believe when the quad sits and the oil drains off the plates.So when you start a cold motor and pull the clutch in the plates stick together in the grooves so no oil can get inbetween them. I could be wrong but, I have spent many hours adjusting my clutch and I have the same problem and I know my basket is worn with the grooves. Time for aftermarket!!!!!!!

Reminds me of a time when was swimming down in Guantanamo Bay,Cuba.Bunch of us went out snorkleing,swam out pretty far,dove down to check things out.I turned aound under water and looked toward the open sea and nearly shit my shorts when I saw a fish,tuna fish, shark I dont know what it was all I can remember It was as big as i was and was fast!That was the last time I swam in the ocean!!!!
  20. If your pistons are fine you need to dig deeper and check the gears.assuming you were drag racing and slamming gears one may have broke and there can be little pieces getting stuck in all the wrong places.
  21. Could be the stock impeller gear is stripped out and is not doing its job.

  23. check your water impeller gear. The pin that keeps the gear in place may have stripped out!

  25. yeah I would say thats a little small!! You better have you brother-in-law double check those mains or he is gonna have some new pistons in there to!!!!
