This weekend I was putting a new clutch in & noticed when I went to put the nut onto the threaded shaft some of the threads were stripped out. That is all fine & I ordered some new parts but I am curious when I put the new ones togather if the threded rod just simply threads into the shaft becuse when I tried to back it out it was giving me a fight. Also I have heard of problems with the nut that is part of the shaft twisting in the hex cut on the pressure plate under extreme load. Has anyone gone through either of these. Hinson sells a billet pressure plate instead of the stock cast but it is way expensive. My plate is fine I was just thinking of future problems.

O.K I have almost the same sceanrio as you have.I live in Mi. about 700 asl I put my Noss head on with 20CC domes & went from 140 with a cut head to about 162with the Noss. I could tell some low end gain but I also was running brand new 9 paddle Extremes so the hook was def. there as well. My buddy & I are pretty close on mods & speed I have a Noss he has a cut head & we still run real close a small hick up off the line makes or breaks a win. Our quads ran real close with both cut heads also. Full out 6th gear I might get it but I have Toomeys & he has PTR's but have not tested it yet. I run all race gas with 20's but my timing is @ +5 degrees.I could go half & half prob. You wont be whoopin on them with the bolt on but it runs cooler & helps all around.

I talked to the owner of Toomey & he told me the T6 is designed mainly for stockish motor. If the T5's were obso. they would not sell them anymore.

If you are going to advance timing I would run 21CC on pump gas. I run 20cc with a +5 timing in Mi. & my compression is 162PSI. Before the cool head I had a .030 cut stock head @ 140ish PSI. I run 110 only & it runs great.

Dude do you just want people to list a bunch of bolt on gimmicks just so you can say you have them even if it adds no HP's. Go big or stay home...if you want speed crack them cases & get to gettin. Bore & Port with a stronger crank that will set you up for a lot of goodies later. Get the head mine was cut .020 & 140PSI & I put on a Noss with 20CC now I am at 165 Psi but I also have a Hot Rod crank.

I also bought some new 9 paddle Extremes before I went & wow what a diff in hook even from reg. Haulers. I think I need a longer swing arm now though.

I just got back yesterday & there was no sound check all weekend just a Sparky check. They said it is intermitten checks but if you put your quad in the back of a truck & say it is blown you can ride in.

Revs higher through the powerband increasing peak HP's. You can tell the difference when ran next to a like machine without the advance. I also reccomend lightening your flywheel to compliment the timing advance.Quick fast revs almost mimick that of a crisp 125 dirtbike.

THE 100:1 IS A BETTER PRE MIX OIL I WAS TOLD NOT TO USE THE INJECTOR OIL FOR PRE MIX APPLICATION.
