FYI 1500cc of gear lube is 51.7oz. or 1.65 quarts. That is Yamaha specs. from the side of the case. Thanks any way.

How much gear lube actually is suppsed to be in the tranny. I can read the dip stick but I an just curious on the actual # of oz.'s

Anyone have a good trick to get the black off chrome pipes from a riding boot that touches the hot pipes?

You should have lined your tires with old carpet or duct tape & ran tubes. Ice picks in the back are better then kold kutters also more hook less BS & youcan make a nice even pattern.

I live a 1/2 an hour north of Detroit but will deliver up to 100 miles. This sled will be on e bay next week. There will be no disappointments on this sled & the price is very attractive.

I bailed on the + 4 I agree with you & it limits my riding to drags. I put the $$ into a Noss head instead & I am contiplating some carbs. Any sugg. there?

1.I would like to upgrade to larger carbs from my stockers I ride trails,dunes, & play around drags on sand & ice. What is suggested for size , my mods are listed below. 2.My bike is jetted real well how much retune will I need to do? Toomey T5's,milled, ported, polished, boost bottle, V-Force,open K&N's,Hot Rod crank,.40 over. Noss machine head with 20cc domes is on the way. Thanks

I ran a stock length last year but like I said I had new Kenda Sand Geckos that I had to buy @ the last minute I thought they hooked up terrible.

I run Castor oil myself & I also run on the ice in the winter the owner of Magics Racing here in Mi. told me never to run Castor oil below 50 degrees because it does not stay seperated & tends to coagyalte(???).He said it is the best just not in the winter time.

I have a set of brand new Sparkys that I used once on my Toomeys $65 for pair. I paid $140 new.

I have 20 X 11 X 9 8 paddle Haulers in good shape.They have slow rim leak but last all day.Tubes will work mint if you dont have a lot of ponies. $40 with out rims $70 with alum. blue labels. Anyone else interested pm me.

Last year I was experiencing some initial hook problems off the line(I am blaming the junk Sand Geckos).I am buying a new set of paddles & rims for the spring can someone reccomend a good size along with gearing. Also you can view my mods below. I also run on the ice in the winter with ice picks. P.S Will I struggle more off the line with the +4 then stock?

They have slow rim leaks but not bad .1 damaged paddle. A lower HP machine can run tubes in them & be just fine. $35 for set + shipping.

9" Douglas Blues they need polishing but are in descent shape. $25 + shipping
