  5. my compression is 155 after porting i installed the 21cc domes. i am just thinking of getting a 20cc domes. do you think that i have to run race gas if i installed a 20 cc domes and would it gives me more hp.
  6. thats right it has four curves you can get but the problem if you have a degree key the timing should be 0 or it want work good for non modified shee
  7. 4-snow they r realy not good tires for all around riding. they ll get destroyed less than a two month if you aren't ridding in sand. i like the trekkers or trex that comes stock with the rear raptor tires.
  8. thx, i well get +4 swing arm cuz it is common in the place where i live. what is better get a new one or cut and weild my stock swing arm.
  9. hi guys, i just went to the dunes this weekend with the new mods as you know.(wiseco hotrod crank +4 with porting level 2 and collhead with v+force and spacers) the shee runs like a champ. i installed my old hualares ten paddle hieght is 20. with my old mods it realy doesn't go more than 2nd gear but know it revolt in to the 3rd and the 4rth and sometimes in the 5th when going up a hill. and now the main problem i realy cant stop it from weelling. i am thinking to get a +4 or +2 swing arm what is the better for duning and traling? i dont want it to affect the power and the riding?
  10. i thought of that at first . i have the t6 pipes and i will see if it is good for porting.i just got the wiseco hot rod +4 ctank and level two porting, v-force and spacers, boost bottle and cool head.

I would be careful about recommending that low of a main....You'll feel sorry if he blows his motor up because of lean jetting......I rode in California and had to bump up my jetting 5 sizes on the mains...Both areas are at sea level... thought that at first but that is the setting when you get a stock shee from the yamaha dealer withou any mods
  12. 290 is too rich and even 260 s rich if you don't have any k&n filter or a removed lid or the air box. i would say go to 200 or 210 it depend in your evaluation. when i was stock i was running 200.
  13. i had the same problem, change your spark plugs and make sure that your carb is clean.
  14. if that is rich i am runing 270 mains and it is darker than that.
  15. i also think that it is wierd. but dont forgot that i live in the middle east and the whether is always humid and the temp cant get less from 15 c only in the morning or in the midnight.
  16. oh ya today i'm going to buy spacers and timing plate. (+4 is okay isn't it) would you think that it could shift to gear 4 without bogging? (my english launguge is not that good)
  17. yesterday i changed my main jet to 270 and i can feel more power throught the power band. i well try it in wed and i will if there is improvement.
  18. put on nu plugs or clean them with gas if you dont have a shop nearby. it always happen to me in the dunes.
  19. should i have new plugs check? mine gets black after the first ride.
  20. i said that at first after reading the jetting FAQ but when i changed the main jets 310 it was the baddist jet i had used. so i decided to go to 340 and i really cant go more than 1/4 or it will bog hard. my shee builder suggested 270 mains and keep the same pilot jets cuz he said when have a tire that grooves in the sand you should have smaller jets.
  21. elevation is sea level. running right now 290 mains and 27.5 pilot. air screw is 3/4 out side (i am running rich in the pilots and i will change it ASAP) BTW if i want to start the race with gaer 2 (which i always do) i should hold on the clutch and give it a wot and then release or i will feel that i am running gear 6.
  22. I went to the dunes with my buddies yesterday. the shee bogs from 4-6 gears. (e.g) befor a steep hill i start with the 1 gear and then i shift to the 2 and 3 gears, when i shift to 4 gear it bogs and slows down. My mods are:- tr6 pipe K & N filter air box is removed porting done (0.40) 64.50 pro-x pistons 4-snow maxxis tires (i think that what the call them) 22-10-00-9 what is the problem? 1. am i going rich 2. or i need more power for these tires any info is appriciated. thanx
  23. i run yamalube 2t (black and blue container) in a 18:1 when i say 18:1 that means 18 us liter? (yes/no) i think that i am runnig rich.
